We liked the location overlooking a palm plantation with forest on the hills, a pretty view with birds to spot in the morning and evening. Nice cabin, we enjoyed 2 nights there and would recommend. Clean with good facilities for cooking and a washing machine which was welcome and not usually found in rental properties. Some reviews mentioned the drive from the main road which I personally found to be fine, a decent graded road then a short stretch of tarmac and a short steeper path to the cabin, first gear and no problem in the rain.

On our arrival we first had difficulties in finding the house but as it was said in former reviews the house itsself, the equiment and the nature around is stunning. Problems we had once with the look and once with the electricity were solved by Johan immediately. It was very clean inside and the garden very beautiful. We saw around the house iguanas, hummingbirds, tucans and the three kinds of monkeys in the trees. It was lovely refuge close to the busy city Quepos and we enjoyed our last days of our Costa Rica holidays there very much.

Incredible property with wildlife all around. Large space with everything our family of 4 needed. The balcony was a huge bonus and perfect for watching all the wildlife. Nightly visit from a tucan who settle on a branch next to the balcony for the night was so lovely.

It is a whole house with 2 floors and a great terrace with a roof and places to rest and chill. Everything you need is there.
It's in a nice part of the village. Lots of locals, No other tourists. And only 10 or 15 minutes to the center. Small Supermarket just the other side of the street, a big one just 5 minutes away.
Very nice and friendly person as the housekeeper. And a friendly person who rent out the house.
Just a few minutes walk to a small ferry (no cars, only people) to El Cocal with its very beautiful beach! And very friendly locals.
