This lovely little property is off the beaten track. It is nice but basic. I would recommend it if you want something family run, at a good cost, and don’t require polished luxury. Each room is a stand alone unit and there was a large amount of space in our family unit. They offer local style breakfast and some nice options for dinner. Liberia is only a 10 minute drive away for other dinner options.
The local family operating the villa are very kind and pleasant. The breakfast is fantastic! As a solo woman traveller, I felt very safe and welcome in the Villa. Thank you kindly! Lovely outdoor sitting and eating areas in addition to the room.
I’m glad we didn’t book one of the large chain hotels near the airport for our one night in Liberia before flying home. Villa Hermosa has more local flavour and is family run. Very convenient location with a small supermarket almost next door and several options for food in the area.
The breakfast is excellent. Pastries, bread, rice and beans, etc. Omelet made fresh. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of birds and wildlife. Seen howler, spider and capuchin monkeys in my 3 night stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The villas are beautiful
Amazing place! Great resort with a lot of space. Great rooms/villas. Super food, amazing amazing spa. Take the massage! Take a mud bath. Jump in hot spring bath. Horse back tour. Really. Really fantastic. Horses were super friendly and great to ride for non riders😃. We ended the tour with the private zipline tour. Also amazing. Swimming pool? Next to nature with howler monkeys, Toukans etc. Really! And no I paid the full amount. Im not staff😜
Everything! This is a spectacular resort, up a mountain. Everything from the reception desk and welcoming smoothie to activities, restaurant, spa, thermal pools and drivers who patiently drove us up to our gorgeous villas
Pretty much everything. Seriously. Top of the list, though: the serenity, the beauty of the landscape, the trees, the lagoon pool, the swim up bar, the friendliness of EVERY staff person we met, the affordability and value of the 4 senses tour, the thermal pools, the ceiling of our room, Giovanni, Ior, and Luis at the pool and ziplines, and all the villas on the hillside.
beautiful location, clean villas, very comfortable! the thermal springs are really nice, the pool is very large and fun for all! the garden and grounds are very well kept and pristine! breakfast was very good!
The grounds are amazing and the Villas are exceptional.
Everything was awesome except the Sauna/Steam room was being remodeled and we were not able to use this facility. This is one our favorite areas of the Borinquen. Hopefully this will be ready soon!
