I had a wonderful time staying in Berton's place. My comfortable stay begun before I even arriving in Providence - I encountered an issue with my flight reservation and I had to change my booking at the last minute. My hosts were super accomodating and helpful, they immediately changed my reservation and told me I can check in as soon as I arrive.
It is a family run business and it really feels like it. The houses have a beautiful garden, filled with majestic lizards. You really feel one with the wilderness. The room was clean, the bed super comfortable, and every day they offered a cleaning service. The hosts are so sweet, and friendly and made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. They told me that the only thing I need to do in Providence is to be free and I thought that was the most beautiful recommendation I have ever received :)

The location at Manzanillo was fantastic, 2 minute walk from probably the most beautiful and quiet beach. The house itself was very clean and very beautiful, we enjoyed having a little kitchen to cook and be private some evenings. We were grateful for all the fans in the house as it was very hot weather every day and night! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and responded to all of our needs and questions! The owner was really nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was useful to have kitchen. It was close to airport and close to little village and atm (on motorbike). Would go back.
Excellent value for the money. Cecile the host and her team were very nice and helpful. The beachfront doesn’t invite you for a swim but they are great spots within 10 minutes ride from here. Cecile offers you a scooter to rent for an affordable price so you will reach every bay in the island. The homemade food is tasty. I can highly recommend Posada Valerie for travelers with smaller budget.
We loved our stay at Posado Mango Tree. It’s set in a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the village centre. It was great to have cooking facilities and the supermarket being nearby was handy. The bed was big and comfortable. We did a snorkeling tour with the owner, Sheidner, who was really helpful. Providencia is very expensive for accommodation and this was a good affordable option.
