We had the most incredible stay here in Bosnia! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They welcomed us with homemade jam, traditional pastries, and a selection of local wines. Their warm hospitality was truly unmatched.
They shared the most delicious produce from their beautiful garden, including zucchinis, tomatoes, and eggplants. It was truly special to cook with fresh ingredients straight from their garden.
The house was perfect – clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. The location was also ideal, offering easy access to local attractions.
Never in our lives have we been treated with such kindness and care. If we are ever in Bosnia again, we will absolutely be back!

We stayed there for one night for our trip from Albania to Germany, same as last year 🙂 the place around the house with the river right in front of the house is just great for the kids and our dog. House would be too small for a longer stay for four persons, but for one night it is just perfect!

Perfect place for family with children. A large house surrounded by beautiful nature where children can feel at ease and parents can feel comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and electric cooker allows you to make your own meals. Four bathrooms mean there are no lines to wash or go to the toilet. The host family living in the house next door is always ready to help. Our children were additionally delighted with the passing trains near the house and as soon as they heard the train coming, they ran out onto the terrace or in front of the house to wave the conductor and travelers. There is also a river with a pebble beach nearby where kids can splash around. Last but not least, you can easily get to Medugorje with your own car whenever you want and in Surmanci itself there is a church with the miraculous icon of Jesus Merciful which you can visit as well.

The location of Villa Klemo could not have been better. I am waiting to my hip replaced so it was ideal for me. Just across the road from St. James' Church.The manager and staff were really friendly and helpful. I could not praise them enough. Will definitely be returning next year.

- the B&B Villa Elena is advertised as Bed & Breakfast = so the price for the accommodation should include the breakfast...
They do serve correct breakfast = delicious, but except for the eggs the rest is plastic-packed jams, butter, etc = all this for an extra price
- my 40 years travel experience proved to-date that B&B means bed and breakfast are included in the price, no extra charges = at Villa Elena this is not the case
Very clean room, nice and pleasant interior design, very hospitable personnel, free parking. Next to villa there is a small restaurant Sweet with excellent food.

A brilliant hotel with lovely staff, Tanja couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were spotless and very modern. The only wee thing missing was a small fridge beside the kettle we could use.
