18 km from Pico do Carvao, Quinta da Paz Azores is a recently renovated property located in Pico da Pedra and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very honestly, it's the place just where you want to be. My (our) impression: we lived in a double room. It would be suitable for 3 adults. I was travelling with a family member. The room: is cosy, and a lot of time has been taken to create the cosiness with details. The room is large, with plenty of space. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, including a coffee machine. The bathroom is also very comfortable. There is air conditioning in the appartment, sometimes on summer days it helps wonderfully. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The extra bed is also very comfortable. Location: The villa is 10 minutes by car from Ponta Delgada and 10 minutes in the other direction from Santa barbara beach. Very easy and convenient access to all parts of the island. We stayed in the villa for 10 days and travelled all over the island. We went for a coffee in Ponta Delgada, then a swim in the fantastic waves at Santa Barbara beach. We had lemonade at a beach café and returned to an oasis of calm. There we were greeted by the sound of birds, chicken, parrot Lara greeting Ola and swirls at nightfall. An absolute paradise among the palm trees. We had coffee by the pool on a bench and started the morning with a swim in the pool. If that's what you're looking for, peace and quiet and real relaxation, then I highly recommend this place. Thank you Mrs. Claudia and Mrs.Nicole. The warm welcome is forever imprinted in our hearts and memories. If you're looking and you find a place available, you won't be disappointed. You have created a paradise on an island that is already full of beauty. P.S. Everything that grows on the farm, as long as it is ripe, you can pick and taste. If you like to eat egs fyou will find them in the farmhouse, completely fresh and organic.

Located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from São Roque Beach, Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This was an exceptional experience! The room was spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and very well isolated form the outside noises. Even there were construction work nearby we never heard any noise. The breakfast was very nice! We loved the option to have the typical pastry and the cheese with pepper sauce everyday apart of other options, fresh fruit, different types of pastries and breads, ham and cheese, all perfect! You also have the option to park in the hotel parking. It is easier to get into the parking with a smaller car, but even with a big car you are fine. It is an option that not all hotels offer. What made our stay so exceptional was the stuff at the hotel. The communication was clear, accurate and prompt. In particular, the receptionist/manager excelled in providing us suggestions and recommendation on places to visit and things to do, so we could fully enjoy our time. It was a first class service! I give the Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel my highest recommendation and thank all the stuff to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable!

Located in Ponta Delgada and only 2.4 km from Milicias Beach, Vilas do Olival provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Would repeat. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything looked as if we were the first people to be there. Staff was very responsive prior and during our stay. We got fresh towels half way through the stay, nice detail much needed with 3 kids. The hot tub is a fantastic perk after a day of hiking. The weather was not warm enough to use the pool, but I can see how it'll be great come summer. Good location, quiet and just a minute to the main highway sending you to famous spots around the island. Easy 10m drive to Ponta Delgada's center. Much recommended.

Everything - location was perfect, kitchen was well equipped, very clean, room was so quiet, Daniel was an amazing host and always available to answer questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Offering mountain views, Parrots`Village in Rabo de Peixe offers accommodation, water sports facilities, free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. It's a very nice place equipped with everything you need. We had a great time enjoying the barbacue and jacuzzi on the garden. The owners are really nice and helpful.

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. The owner and the place are amazing

Featuring garden views, CASA DO ADRO -GRANEL features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 27 km from Pico do Ferro. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. Nice place. Everything was perfect. I can heartily recommend it.
