The owners were very friendly and welcomed us with some treats. The houses are well located and have excellent insulation, almost no need for air conditioning. They are very well equipped and the hygiene was excellent.

The apartment is beautifully renovated. It was comfortable and convenient to shops, parks, and historic sites. It is very well equipped for self-catering with all modern equipment. The washing machine was really appreciated, as was the fresh fruit and sweets... a very nice touch! The terrace was a bonus! Carlos was quick to communicate, and it seems he really cares for his guests. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Set within 16 km of Douro Museum and 36 km of Natur Waterpark, FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lamego. This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

We liked the personal approach and introduction of the house. And also helped us orient us in the town. Spacious, comfortable for the whole family. Kitchen fully equipped with basic ingredients for a breakfast. Washing mashine was also useful.

The location among the beautiful vineyards and the panoramic view from the whole apartment onto the Douro river was fantastic. It was magical and meditative at the same time. It was very quiet and just relaxing to gaze at the outdoor scenery at any time. Everything was provided to ensure you the most memorable and pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We got a tour of the whole property upon our arrival and breakfast was served in a picnic box on the bench outside our door. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

Offering pool views, Quinta de Varzielas - Agroturismo in Castelo de Paiva features accommodation, a private beach area, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and barbecue facilities. It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). I stayed in many places. I have never met expensive coffee machines, sound bars with subwoofers, and collectible vintage radios for guests. All kitchenware matches by color. Complimentary cake, fruits and Porto vine are offered. Places and where to eat recommendations are printed. The host is amazing. Everything is made with love.
