This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

Wonderful surprise in beautiful Lamego. The hotel is absolutely wonderful in a nice refurbished building. The hotel is very well located, 2 min walk from the Cathedral and the city center. The apartments are absolutely huge, very well decorated and brand new. You have a nice living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a great bathroom. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very cosy. Everything is neat and spotless, very clean. It is very easy to park nearby and the area is very quiet at night but you have lots of restaurants nearby (walking distance) to have dinner. The hosts Cristina and Antonio are very kind and helpful and the communication with them is very easy. If that were not enough, they even give you a bottle of Douro wine and some local sweets, a great final touch! I can't recommend more this place, I will definitely come back! Muito obrigado!

This was a beautiful property. With an amazing pool and view of the valley. The accommodations were perfect with a clean apartment, AC if needed however, the cool breeze at night was enough for our family.  I cannot say enough great things about the host and his son. They were in contact with me even before my arrival. They greeted us with a glass of their homemade port wine and were dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as can be. They gave us amazing dinner reservations in town. Lamego is a beautiful village with an old history yet many great dining options and is only 10 mins outside of the more tourist areas. If you are even looking at this location, please look no further and book your stay you will not regret it. The pool is big and extremely clean and well-maintained- you will feel like you are at a high end resort -there’s plenty of seating and it is not busy or over packed. It is very private and at night you can enjoy a glass of wine under the star studded sky. we will definitely be back as this was one of the best stays in Portugal during our two week visit!

Literally everything. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The mansion is outstanding - huge, modern, clean, well decorated, with pool - as well as the location in the vineyards. You even get free wine. The breakfast was unbelieveably delicious with regional and handmade products. Never had a better price-performance ratio. We loved the 4 dogs living on the property.

The place is beautiful and comfortable. We loved having an entire apartment, and especially the beautiful terrace. The proprietors are very nice and helpful, and gave us good tips on things to do. The grounds are awesome, even though it was tough for us to walk into town.

The interior was entirely rebuilt with a very modern look. The fireplace gives it a homely touch and the AC in the bedroom makes sure you’ll always be comfortable. The garage is super handy and the location guarantees peace and quiet, while being sufficiently close to Lamego.
