You will feel away from the beloved Douro area but still very closed by car throught lovely roads
The owners are very discret so that you feel at home. We had the house above the river perfect fot two with everything you need for cooking and sleeping like babys with the river sound and thick stone walls...amazing!
Opposite of the gate, there is a nice path along the river for walking jogging.
Enjoy Quinta Reciaō like we did...
Note that you will need a car as there is nothing ecxept peace walkable around.

We had a wonderful stay at Aardinia. The apartment was very spacious, perfect for our family, it has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a big living room with a kitchenette. The kitchen is fully equipped, it has a fridge, coffee machine and all amenities. Everything is super clean.
The location of the place is perfect, it is in a calm pedestrian area, close to the main square and city attractions.
The communication with the host was perfect. A highly recommended place!

Host was very friendly and great communication before and during. Location was very beautiful and pool area was lovely. Room was spacious and there was free parking. Nice facilities in the kitchen and shower was great.

The property is only 3kms from Lamengo centre and as we arrived we called Jorge about the lockbox for keys. not only did he give me clear directions, within 2 minutes his friend Antonio wads there to help us get settled.

The incredible view! House was spacious and very clean. Even the bedding was of great quality. Kitchen has a lot of utensils. And when we needed something, Sonia drove by to supply us immediately. We also made use of the BBQ grill. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Excellent communication. We were met at the apartment by the friendly owner who showed us around and was very generous, having left us some local food and some port. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfy, as well as very good value. The bedrooms were at the rear of the property, hence they were very quiet at night.

Greate location, 5 minutes from the main sightseeings. Very clean facilities. There is a shared bathroom that is very clean and updated. The bedrooms are plain but clean and cozy. A/C is located in the perfect place of the room and doesn't blow on you directly. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen is small for four people but it has everything that you need to cook breakfast. The host is very responsive. Mrs. Fatima is a lovely lady. A welcome drink was very appreciated after the long drive.
The best views in The Douro! We loved our stay here- immaculate presentation, 2 decent sized bedrooms with big shutter windows, excellent individual aircon. Kitchen had everything in it for a fabulous cook up. Huge deck for outdoor eating overlooking the valley. Friendly and helpful owners. Big clean pool. You definitely need a car. Overlooked Six Senses Douro Valley. We went there for a drink and felt very privileged to return to our own castle! Would definitely stay at Quinta das Murteinhos again.
Everything ! From the warm welcome by the owner, to living in this nice, well preserved old stone-house, with private parking at the doorstep !
The house had 2 nice bed-rooms, a big living room, and a spcious kitchen with all necessary equipment.
The house had a nice balcony with panorama view over surrounding grapefields, the vally below, and the hills in the horison. The beds were excellent and so was the breakfast. We should have stayed here forever !
The place looked impressive and had been developed well, the rooms were big but seemed soul less, quite sparsely furnished showed its conversion from what appeared to be a barn. It had two kitchens, a small one upstairs and a large one, very well equipped, downstairs away from rooms. The weather was not great but the pool looked good had it been better weather. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom quite big and all worked well. The area was quiet.
Everything was great, manuel is a great host ,the local bread was great which was in kitchen and local wine very nice touch,
