Unbeatable location, definitely a bit noisy because you’re so central but if you’re okay with that then it’s perfect. Nice having a washing machine.

What a wonderful cottage this is. Beautifully cosy, and lovely little touches throughout to make it feel homely. Fresh milk in fridge, everything needed in kitchen and in bathroom, even down to toiletries and so on. Jane was so lovely and friendly. Fabulous sunset view at back as we arrived. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer and would if coming to area in future.

Property was very clean and tidy, perfect for a solo traveller or couple. The rooms let a lot of natural light in which was lovely, TV has everything you need (Netflix, Prime, Disney etc as well as free-view). The Kitchen has a good range of utensils so cooking was no struggle. Complementary Tea and Coffee (no milk). Less than 5 minute walk to open fields to wonder around as well as a children's play area nearby. Bed and sofa were very comfortable.

Buttercross Cottage is a charming old cottage thoughtfully equipped for a very comfortable holiday. Located in a beautiful village with lots of walks and eating out places on the doorstep. Genuinely dog friendly, a very well equipped kitchen, great bathroom, comfy beds and the private little courtyard off the sitting room much appreciated during the summer weather.
