The location was great, a perfect spot to explore the Peaks. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Parking was available. The decor was great and communication with the host was good. The kitchen is well stocked and the welcome bowl of fruit and snacks was a nice touch. There were loads of toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch.

We had a change of plans before we arrived as we ended up taking one of our children with us, I sent a message in advance and on arrival they gave us an upgrade to a suite which was fantastic. Bedroom was very spacious with it's own bath in the room, the second room had a fantastic kitchen area with built in oven, hob, washing machine and fridge. The room was immaculate and overall the facilities were superb.

Lovely small cottages, very comfortable, and every need catered for. Kitchen particularly well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. Alan the owner, was friendly and helpful but without being intrusive. The cottage is adjacent to a pleasant brewery tap house which we enjoyed

Nice cosy bungalow in a quiet location about 10 minutes walk to town centre. We were stopping for just one night while on a cycle tour and it was perfect for us. The crisps and biscuits provided were much appreciated! Also nice to find the kitchen provided with basics such as tea bags and some cooking oil and a few capsules for the washing machine.
