What a beautiful place! Decorated so nice and there was some lovely Christmas decorations too, lots of personal touches! The host was so lovely, he phoned us beforehand to see if we needed anything and to ask what complimentary drinks we would like! Would absolutely stay here again☺️☺️

The location was fantastic, everything we needed on the doorstep. The pub literally 4 doors down the Commercial Inn was lovely and cosy and very festive! We had lunch at the Bulls Head up the road on the first day and also a few drinks in the Victoria up the road, all lovely pubs. We walked into down and had a Birthday dinner for my husband at Napoli which was a lovely traditional Italian. The information booklet in the cottage was excellent. My only minor comment and this is not a criticism, but as it was still the festive period, a small tree or a few lights etc would have been a lovely touch in the cottage as everywhere else was so festive and lit up.
All in all it was an excellent stay and I would recommend highly :-)

The house was well presented, in an excellent location with access to parks and of course the peaks. Lovely welcome basket of goodies which was a really nice gesture, kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, bathroom was even stocked with shower gel, shampoo and soap. Everything had been thought of.
The house had everything we needed for our stay. We we're staying in all weekend looking after grandson whilst others attended a wedding. Cooking in the house was exceptional as the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment.
The cottage is absolutely stunning throughout ! The kitchen is beyond perfection. The hosts were pleasurable and anything we needed they were on hand to offer advice.
Good location, good facilities in the house, well equipped kitchen, makes for a good, enjoyable stay. Thankyou for the welcome drinks & snacks, much appreciated by walkers.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The kitchen is amazing and the quality of fittings and furnishings throughout was fantastic - the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. A real home from home. Hosts were absolutely lovely too and could not have been more friendly or welcoming.
Lovely small cottages, very comfortable, and every need catered for. Kitchen particularly well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. Alan the owner, was friendly and helpful but without being intrusive. The cottage is adjacent to a pleasant brewery tap house which we enjoyed
Nice cosy bungalow in a quiet location about 10 minutes walk to town centre. We were stopping for just one night while on a cycle tour and it was perfect for us. The crisps and biscuits provided were much appreciated! Also nice to find the kitchen provided with basics such as tea bags and some cooking oil and a few capsules for the washing machine.
