We stayed here last year and had such a good experience, we returned this year and it was just as good. Thierry is a wonderful host and the apartment has everything you might need including some basic groceries which is a lovely touch on arrival. It’s ideally located with amenities on the doorstep and is a short walk from the centre. The view from the balcony is worth the stay in itself. Could not recommend more.

The apartment was well equiped, clean and comfortable, as well as having plenty of space. There is a lift to the 6th floor which is the level the apartment is located. it had pleasant views, and a balcony to sit and enjoy the view of the building’s garden. We didn’t feel closed in because the buildings around us were much lower. The shower was very large. The kitchen was very well equipped. One thing that impressed us was the detail in the pictorial information that was provided to make everything easy. Languages in both French and English with drawings or pictures alongside to explain. It was the best information booklet I have seen.
The location was excellent. There is a supermarket just a few meters down and across the road. It is about a ten minute walk to the Metro, and there are many restaurants in the area. It also feels a very safe area to walk in. The building itself has excellent security, as does the apartment.
The communication with Lisa is outstanding. I needed to contact her before we arrived, and from that point on I had only to message her and I was confident of getting an almost instant reply. I had occasion to be very grateful for her attentiveness on our last day in Lyon when I locked my handbag in the apartment after I checked out. She was able to unlock the door remotely and I was able to retrieve my bag to my great relief.

Bed very very comfortable, kitchenett is very functional, free dishwasing pack at the reception, lidl grocery shop 5 mins away, staff very helpful, washing mashine and dryer available for extra 5 and 3 euros which includes the laundry detergent. Small but good size of fridge. Good AC.
We had to book at the last moment because we had a problem with our previous hotel. However, we were very nicely surprised and the conditions at the hotel made us very happy and satisfied.
As overall, everything was great. A very clean hotel, cosy & soft bed, well equipped kitchen, perfect location and kind staff.

Very clean. Bed was comfortable. It was nice to have the air conditioning, this is rare in Europe in my experience. Convenient to have an elevator, also unusual in such an old building. I didn’t really use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped for self catering.
