Information on how to access the property only became clear when we arrived at 4pm. Until that time we were unaware that we could just walk in the gate, find a note, and walk into our chalet - no code, lock box, etc for us to worry about finding.
The Chalet was delightful - 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, plenty of space, warm and comfortable, with cow bells ringing in the neighbouring property.
The train/bus station was a 5 minute walk away, the guest card gave us access to local transport, and Interlaken is well placed for travel to tourist spots in the Jungfrau region and beyond (we went on day trips by train to Zermatt, Montreux, Stanserhorn).

Was pretty easy to get the Keys,as the hosts had all the information sent out correctly.
The location is excellent.Few steps to the Bus stop that takes you to Interlaken Ost or West.You have Lidl and Coop nearby and the apartment has all facilities if you would want to prepare something quickly.

The location was excellent. Only a short walk from the main city centre. There were sufficient eating options close by including a supermarket. The cooking facilities had everything we needed it was just so well equipped.
The attention to detail was exceptional. A bottle of wine and Toblerone chocolate on arrival was a nice touch.
It was the best accommodation we had in our 6 week overseas trip. Highly recommended.

This guesthouse is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable. We are a family of five and were accomodated with ample space and comfort. The family room we received had a kitchen and dining area which we often used. The guesthouse has an amazing veranda which overlooks Interlaken and the river. We used that every evening for dinner.
The breakfast served is incredible, consists of great options for everyone and has local produce such as yoghurts, cheeses etc. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

It has been a nice experience to stay at Holzhaus bei Interlaken. The location was superb. We had a mountain view apartment. We got everything we needed for stay. The kitchen was completely equipped with all the necessary utensils. The host lady was very kind to us. I must recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit Interlaken.
The moment you step in the hotel, you will be greeted by a most welcoming smile from Peter, who will walk you through every single process of checking-in; he will even escort you, with your luggage, to your room, complete with all the brochures, maps, and advice you need to get around Interlaken.
From Interlaken Ost, bus #103 stops a few meters before the hotel, every 30min.
The restaurant serves very good breakfast & excellent food for lunch & dinner. The kitchen & restaurant staff are very kind and attentive. 😊
The house is located reasonably near Interlaken East train station, easily reachable in a couple of bus stops or in about 30 mins on foot.
The place is spacious, with a fully furnished kitchen, and didn't feel cramped even for a party of 5
The view from the apartment across the Aare River was beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable with a full kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. Access to the bikes was great, it made the commute into Interlaken much easier as we didn't have a car. Heating worked well and kept us nice and warm.
