You can see that cleanliness is a top priority, which gave us peace of mind, especially with younger children. The hotel also felt extremely safe, with attentive security and a design that made us feel at ease moving around the property. The rooms at the Aurora are a perfect blend of cozy and stylish, and they truly feel like a home away from home. From soft linens to beautiful decor, every detail contributes to a warm ambiance that lets you unwind completely. Our room even had a lovely view, which made each morning feel magical. It’s not often that you leave a hotel genuinely sad to go, but that’s exactly how we felt at Aurora. The service was impeccable, the location was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable in every possible way. Set 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre of Ilulissat, HOTEL SØMA Ilulissat has spectacular views of the world famous Ilulissat Icefjord. Lovely room, great view and was handy having the little kitchen, I didn't use it but would be great for anyone looking to save money.

Best Western Plus Hotel Ilulissat features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ilulissat. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a tour desk. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ilulissat. It’s quiet, well set up and with helpful staff. We had fantastic views from our room overlooking the icebergs and town. It seems the best hotel for location as it is in the town centre so you can walk to everything. Although if required taxis are inexpensive and were quick to arrive. The Hotel also has alternative pillows available (memory foam) and our room had good blockout curtains. There is a rooftop restaurant with a veranda with spectacular views. Menus were small but the food good. Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Located on the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord in western Greenland is this 4-star hotel. It provides fine dining and a free shuttle service from Ilulissat Airport, 5 minutes’ drive away. Eat pancakes while watching icebergs in the front row and listen to classic French chansons.

What a great experience. We actually loved that the property was not directly in downtown. Nuuk giving us the opportunity to walk half a mile each way taking a different road each time.

The owners were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay! The housekeeper was also very friendly and her work ethics are amazing! I also liked the fact that I could look out the bedroom window or lay down in bed and see the northern lights!
