Hotel Heinitzburg is a restored castle with a unique architecture, set on top of a hill in Windhoek. It features a pool in a manicured garden, a wine cellar and two restaurants. History. Craftsmanship. Staff most of all. Leo’s is their onsite restaurant and the meal was quite remarkable. They have an extensive wine cellar and sell red wines from South Africa that are superb, well aged but not marked up like we see at home in California.

We loved every moment from arrival to departure. All the members of the staff were very welcoming and took a good care of our group. We were served delicious dinner, very good breakfast. The view was beautiful. Accommodation lodges are huge, luxury and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Located along the Atlantic coast within a 15 minutes’ walk from Palm Beach, Hansa Hotel Swakopmund features two restaurants, a bar and terrace. It has a garden and offers free WiFi in all areas. Huge room with sitting room and balcony. Very comfortable. Hotel restaurant is very nice too. Staff is very friendly. Good location near shopping area, coffee and restaurant. 8 mins walking distance to the beach.

Situated a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Windhoek, Hotel Thule is located on a hillside and offers magnificent views over the city. It features a restaurant and bar. Outstanding, wonderful location with super views over Windhoek, large comfortable rooms, all the staff are friendly and helpful particularly Martin in the bar/restaurant. I arrived very early and was given a room immediately which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very good and the on site restaurant was excellent for dinner. There is a nice shaded swimming pool to relax but the best thing is the air of serenity from the moment you drive through the gate. I would 100% recommend.

Anton and his father were local teachers. When Anton's father retired, the villages gave him a piece of land on the river to build this resort. They hire local staff and operate a river cruise to see hippos, and maybe crocs. They do a fantastic job! High recommend this place!

The Weinberg Windhoek is set in Klein Windhoek and has restaurants and free parking is available. The rooms at the Weinberg Windhoek combine old world charme with modern amenities. Absolutely beautiful room. The loft was one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Comfortable, well laid out with lovely garden view and a even a fountain. 3 great restaurants.
