Located on the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord in western Greenland is this 4-star hotel. It provides fine dining and a free shuttle service from Ilulissat Airport, 5 minutes’ drive away. Outdoor rooms were very confortable and with great views. Amazing staff. Delicious, but expensive food at the restaurant

The hotel is in a beautiful location, the rooms are brand new, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. Despite the cold December in Ilulissat, we stayed warm and cozy in this comfortable hotel, with an excellent breakfast and a great price. The young woman at the reception was very friendly, and the airport shuttle was very convenient. It's a shame we couldn't try the restaurant, which has great reviews, as it was closed. I hope to return one day.

You can see that cleanliness is a top priority, which gave us peace of mind, especially with younger children. The hotel also felt extremely safe, with attentive security and a design that made us feel at ease moving around the property. The rooms at the Aurora are a perfect blend of cozy and stylish, and they truly feel like a home away from home. From soft linens to beautiful decor, every detail contributes to a warm ambiance that lets you unwind completely. Our room even had a lovely view, which made each morning feel magical. It’s not often that you leave a hotel genuinely sad to go, but that’s exactly how we felt at Aurora. The service was impeccable, the location was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable in every possible way. We’ve stayed at many hotels, but this one stands out as an unforgettable family destination. Thank you, Aurora Hotel, for an amazing experience. We already miss it and can’t wait to return!

I stayed for 6 nights, and everything was good. Staff was nice, booked me taxis when needed. Restaurant was very convenient when I did not want to walk on a rainy day. It was clean with enough space. I loved the kettle, I could make my own coffee every day.

Det moderna Hotel Icefiord ligger 200 km norr om polcirkeln på västra Grönland och 1 km från centrala Ilulissat. Här finns en hotellbar och rum med platt-TV. We liked everything! The staff was very friendly, The room was very clean with an amazing view on icefjorrd. We arrived at 6am and check in should be at 3pm. Our room was ready so we could go in and we could also have breakfast, which was delicious ! We loved to stay there.
