Outdoor rooms were very confortable and with great views. Amazing staff. Delicious, but expensive food at the restaurant

It felt like a comfortable and safe peaceful home area environment! The owners were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay! The housekeeper was also very friendly and her work ethics are amazing! I also liked the fact that I could look out the bedroom window or lay down in bed and see the northern lights!

Set 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre of Ilulissat, HOTEL SØMA Ilulissat has spectacular views of the world famous Ilulissat Icefjord. Really nice stay, the room was spacious and clean with small essential kitchenette they picked me up at the port and when I had to leave at the airport. Friendly staff, I arrived early and my room was ready one hour before, anyway I could stay at the breakfast room where is available for guests coffe or tea offered by the hotel. The hotel is out of the centre 15 min. walk and I loved it as it is in a quiet place with a superbe view of the fjord. I recommend

Our kids loved the activity areas, and we were thrilled with how easy it was to keep them entertained. There’s a genuine warmth to the way the staff interacted with us and our children, making us feel welcomed and valued. One of the first things we noticed was how clean and well-maintained the entire property is. It’s spotless! You can see that cleanliness is a top priority, which gave us peace of mind, especially with younger children. The hotel also felt extremely safe, with attentive security and a design that made us feel at ease moving around the property. The rooms at the Aurora are a perfect blend of cozy and stylish, and they truly feel like a home away from home. From soft linens to beautiful decor, every detail contributes to a warm ambiance that lets you unwind completely. Our room even had a lovely view, which made each morning feel magical. It’s not often that you leave a hotel genuinely sad to go, but that’s exactly how we felt at Aurora. The service was impeccable, the location was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable in every possible way. The hotel is in a beautiful location, the rooms are brand new, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. Despite the cold December in Ilulissat, we stayed warm and cozy in this comfortable hotel, with an excellent breakfast and a great price. The young woman at the reception was very friendly, and the airport shuttle was very convenient. It's a shame we couldn't try the restaurant, which has great reviews, as it was closed. I hope to return one day.

Located in Nuuk, Hotel SØMA Nuuk offers a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. I stayed for 6 nights, and everything was good. Staff was nice, booked me taxis when needed. Restaurant was very convenient when I did not want to walk on a rainy day. It was clean with enough space. I loved the kettle, I could make my own coffee every day.
