The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was amazing. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the view was simply breathtaking. We loved every moment of our time here and can’t wait to come back!

Armando and Angela are kind individuals operating an amazing hotel! It is situated just on the outskirts of La Fortuna, but easily accessible by foot. The balcony provides a great view of the volcano. Angela was quick to respond to any of my requests and we loved Armando's night frog tour! We would stay here again if we return to La Fortuna!

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Forget reading reviews at other hotels and weighing your options--do yourself a favour and just stay here. It is amazing, clean, your bungalows are comfortable. Each has a great back porch with sitting area directly facing the volcano. Food was excellent--the buffet breakfast was exceptional, and dinner and room service options were delicious, quality and value for money

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. It is a very beautiful hotel at Arenal vulcano with an amazing garden (we saw a lot of hummingbirds) and with a super view of the volcano. The pool is very clean and enjoyable, and there is a caffee and tea corner too. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very quiet and calm. There is a lot of good restaurants near the accomodation.

Apartotel La Sabana is located 1.5 km from central San José and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, breakfast included with the rate and an outdoor pool. Beautiful hotel, greenery and plants everywhere! Such a delicious breakfast!! Everyone at reception was super helpful, they organized a shuttle to meet us at the airport and were so flexible once we had delays with our flights. Great location, 20 min drive from San Jose airport.
