Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Amazing garden - very well maintained and very beautiful! A lot of different birds and other wildlife. There's also a wild trek which begins from the hotel - it's a short one and gives you a great idea what a walk in a jungle looks like. On top of that the staff was amazing - due to bad weather I had to change the plans we had at the last minute and the staff helped us a lot - Thank you, you are awesome and you made our trip to Costa Rica wonderful!

Arenal Monara se găsește în Fortuna, la aproximativ 5,7 km de Cascada La Fortuna și la 4,8 km de Kalambu Hot Springs. This was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. It has an amazing view of the volcano from the balcony. The food was good, including the breakfast which was such a convenient option in the morning. And the owners and employees were excellent professionals while also being friendly. A recommendation for those staying here. Take a sloth tour with Armando. Do it because sloths are very cool and it’s interesting to see them in a natural environment. But do it with Armando because the man has the craziest sloth spotting abilities. I can’t decide if the sloths or Armando’s spotting abilities were cooler. It was a great time. And Armando might show you some cool tips on taking photos.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Beautiful and pastoral grounds, very lush and blooming. The rooms are comfy and large. The staff was super helpful.

The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was amazing. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the view was simply breathtaking. We loved every moment of our time here and can’t wait to come back!

Featuring an extensive garden, a sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free Wi-Fi throughout, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park and from La Fortuna... The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Very friendly staff and let us have an early checkin! The hot spring in Volcano Lodge is a bonus, by pools with different temperatures! Breakfast is nice with fresh fruits!
