White Sands Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Divundu. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and right on the falls. You could hear the falls from your room. The staff were very attentive. We came late and our dinner was provided. The three course dinner was really good. As good as many a large city.

At Zannier Sonop, rooms include a desk. unreal experience - it was magical and place was beautiful staff - friendly and caring - Tammy at reception was amazing to make sure we are comfortable with everything. Floyd was in charge of activities and treated us like friends & family - experienced guy all other supporting staff ware amazing too room was amazing, beautiful and with a great view - felt like a dream food was amazing and all the preparation was on point - view from every point of the property was magical. we did bike riding and horse riding activities and it was a great experience. to top it all while leaving the property they packed lunch boxes for us to eat on the way as it was a very long drive.

Situato a Wilhelmstal, il Khan River Lodge offre un ristorante, una piscina all'aperto, un bar e un giardino. Khan River Lodge is a secluded location, wild and highly scenic, surrounded by private land. It is about 20 km off the B2 road, which we did not quite realize until we got there. The drive itself is a lot of fun, as we saw lots of wildlife, but it is a mix of sand and dirt, challenging for smaller cars without 4WD. The property is cozy, with only about six double-occupancy units, of which we were occupying two (we were traveling as two adults and two older children). The "restaurant" is the lodge kitchen: two wonderful ladies preparing delicious meals and serving them in style. There is no posted menu, but the daily food offerings are artfully presented and tasty, based on local produce and meat. We did not realize we would be the only guests -- and we booked the self-catering option, counting on eating at the restaurant. We had booked self-catering options in other locations, but never realized how remote this one was. Upon arrival, we learned that the expectation for "self-catering" was that we would bring our own food and not need the restaurant. Since the property was just opening after the New Year holiday, they had to scramble a bit, but were kind enough to accommodate (read: feed) us. We loved the meals and the ambiance, the quiet, the lack of light pollution at night, the variety of wildlife roaming around the property, and the laid-back atmosphere -- self-service honesty bar, well-stocked and open to us at all hours.

We stayed in Gabus Lodge for 2 nights and were very lucky to spend our Christmas Eve there. The place is magical, it's a big farm with many animals you can watch. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing too, we sat outside while looking at the animals in the morning. The most beautiful thing about the place is that an amazing family runs it. They are so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed staying there with our body and mind. Thank you so much

Anton and his father were local teachers. When Anton's father retired, the villages gave him a piece of land on the river to build this resort. They hire local staff and operate a river cruise to see hippos, and maybe crocs. They do a fantastic job! High recommend this place!
