The Folks Hotel Konepaja features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Helsinki. The hotel was close to public transportation, so it was easy to get around. The room was comfortable, very clean, and huge, especially for a solo traveler (or at least compared to what I'm used to in Japan). I ate breakfast at the hotel's restaurant on the first morning I arrived because it was before other shops in the area opened. The breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh. The staff were the best part by far, though. 10s across the board. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful but one staff in particular went above and beyond to help me (gave perfect directions, helped me download the transport app and tickets, googled things for me, etc.). Would definitely recommend to others or consider staying here again in the future.

The hotel was a wonderful and unexpected retreat!! The room was super comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, so many choices. The gym and sauna were exceptional. Overall, the best hotel choice I made on this trip. The early check in was allowed for a very small fee, even though I arrived at 10 am! The desk staff even arranged an airport taxi for me
