A fancy boutique place by the lake with perfect sauna cottage (paid extra, but experience definitely worth every penny – private sauna + cool down in the frozen lake + hot tube outside), great breakfast nicely served with wide choice, and with stunning view, staff very friendly and helpful, a little bit small, but just enough room wit marvelous view and comfy bed (without tv so it might be disadvantage for someone, but in my opinion in such place it’s just the right thing not to have it), fantastic place for aurora hunting as you just need to take a few steps to the frozen lake, good communication to husky sledges, snow mobile attractions, ski resort

Offering ski-to-door access next to Ylläs Ski Resort, this property is 100 metres from the Iso-Ylläs ski lift. It features spacious rooms with a drying cabinet, wifi and flat-screen TV. Clean, right on the slopes aparthotel accommodation

This peaceful hotel lies within 5 minutes’ drive of Ylläs Ski Resort. Guests enjoy free gym and sauna access, as well as free private parking. A regular ski bus stops nearby. Really affordable room, that delivered beyond expectations. Breakfast was included which was really good. Lastly, great Sauna! 👍

Hotel Ylläshumina er staðsett á fallegum stað við Äkäslompolo-vatn, nálægt þorpinu Äkäslompolo. Gestir hafa aðgang að frábærum Ylläs-skíðabrekkum og ýmsum gönguleiðum um friðsæla Lappish-náttúruna. Fairytale hotel, wonderful to be holed up there in the winter with the snow falling all around. Food was great (amazing breakfast, gorgeous dinners), nice sauna, handy for skiing and other activities (ski bus takes you direct to the slopes in about 15 mins and is pretty regular.) Rooms spacious, well designed and clean, comfy beds and decent shower. It’s the staff though that really made the difference. A happy family of people who went out of their way to look after me, a warm welcome at reception and bending over backwards to look after me at dinner…as a solo traveller it means the world.

Kuerkievari KuerHotel er staðsett í Äkäslompolo, 6 km frá Jokeri-Pokeri, og býður upp á gistingu með sameiginlegri setustofu, ókeypis einkabílastæði og garði. Family run hotel , make you feel really welcome - very friendly. Home made baking at breakfast was lovely .

Lapland Hotel Ylläskaltio býður upp á hagnýt gistirými með skíðabrautum og sleðabrautum sem hefjast beint fyrir utan dyrnar. Skíðaskutla er í boði fyrir framan hótelið. Well situated; near the lake, which is an excellent spot for Northern lights (w/o street lighning) and very close to good Snowfunsafari where we booked all our excursions, next door to a gourmet restaurant Poro. The breakfast of the hotel if excellent, large variety of dishes. We enjoyed local and continental breakfast (our doughters loved the self made gauffres :-) We did not test the dinner. We also loved there were available slides and local "potkuri" to have a ride on the snow.

Korpikelo býður upp á gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði og er í innan við 36 km fjarlægð frá Kolari-lestarstöðinni. Basic cottage that has all the features we needed. Beds were good and sauna was ok. I would say that the upstairs additional beds are for for 7-13 years old kids, due to height of the area + the stairs are very steep, so you have to be careful when coming down -> but that did not bother us as we were not using upstairs.
