Located in Grande Riviere, Acajou Hotel has a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property has paid airport shuttle service. Exactly what we were looking for as nature lovers. No mosquitoes on the inside. Very quiet. It was cool despite no AC. Walking distance from the beach and river. Also saw baby leatherback sea turtles which was a highlight. Dinner was EXCELLENT and staff was accommodating to help return our camera that we forgot.

Location was perfect for us. Not far from shopping, beaches and lots of eating places.. My children came in from London to celebrate my 70th birthday and it was truly a memorable occasion for us to stay together in the Hyatt. We love the breakfast. Was spoilt for choice. Will definitely return.
