Castara Inn, hotel in Castara

Castara Inn features air-conditioned accommodations in Castara. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.

The property has amazing views, and is situated on a slight hill. There is a walkway that takes you down the back to a private beach. There is also a town with groceries, and food stops that are delicious, and a swimmable bay with lifeguards posted. The beach at the back is slightly steep and through a little forest area and stream, but with the right shoes like runners it’s easy. We did it with a 22month baby in a front carrier. Our toddler loved the beach as it is shallow and calm. We also loved the fruit trees on the property: Avocados, mangos, lemon, and lime trees. There is a stick left to help you pick the fruit. Our toddler enjoyed running through the rock/grass garden and playing with the numerous wind chimes. The Hosts were simply amazing, kind, and generous. They are available to help with any inquiries, and are always ready to offer a helping hand. We would happily return for another visit.

The Victory Villa, hotel in Castara

The Victory Villa is a recently renovated guest house in Parrot Hall where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, garden, and barbecue facilities.

This was my second stay at Victory Villa, and I can’t praise it enough. What a gem of a villa, with the best management ever! This time, I didn’t rent a vehicle, yet I was still able to reach the villa and visit Tobago’s top sites and eat some delicious food —all expertly organised by Wayne and Mr. Hart. Thank you for your exceptional attention to detail and for welcoming me so warmly again. I highly recommend this villa! IMPORTANT POINT TO NOTE: There are NO house lizards or bugs in the rooms at The Victory Villa! This is a top selling point for me :-)

Loved the people, the location and food to die for!

Loved the people, the location and food to die for! It is a short but steep hill down to the beach so a hot walk back but totally worth it. Castara Retreats is built on the hillside like most Tobago property with lots of steps so not for those with mobility issues. Perfect for winter sunshine, a warm welcome and an away from everything vibe!!

My family and I always stayed around Crown point. This time our vacation was longer and wanted to stay more country quiet. So Castara was excellent. We did not have a favorite every beach village was a different experience. Our drive around the island was exciting.

The beach and local business around that area were awesome.

The beach and local business around that area were awesome. The restaurants all provided great food with diverse menus. There were a couple of restaurants that also featured night-time entertainment. African drummers, Karaoke and night-time bonfire. The culture of the village was great where you got to experience the local baking delights offered a couple of times a week, though you had to be sure to book your orders to beat demand. A true no-hassle environment where everyone was warm and welcoming.

The property and room was exceptionally well maintained and clean. We had an issue which was handled immediately with professionality and extreme care. The studio we stayed in was spacious, and decorated nicely with all the modern conveniences. The view of the beach from the deck outside of our studio was absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Castara Inn to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and awesome place to stay in Tobago.

We felt respected and appreciated and that people wanted us to have a lovely experience at Castara. The place was very lovely and clean, the terrace with a hammock made our experience even better.
