The Samoan Outrigger Hotel offers a pool, Wi-Fi access and accommodations with air conditioning or mosquito netting just 15 minutes’ walk from downtown Apia. The customer service at Samoan Outrigger Hotel is amazing. I misread an email regarding a request to check-in early and the front office was still able to accommodate my dad and I. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and well-kept. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the ladies at the hotel made sure to create an inviting atmosphere. Every time we asked for a taxi ride, the front desk was able to assist and a taxi would arrive in less than 5 mins.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Rooms were fantastic, beds massive and the balcony was an added bonus. Layout and decor of the hotel was equally grand - by far the best I saw in Samoa. Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 3117 feet from Apia's town center. Vaea Hotel owners Lupe and Dean were gracious, friendly and informative hosts. They went above being hosts, they made you feel like part of their family rather than just a guest! Always smiling and happy. Breakfast was always fresh and great tasting! Farm fresh eggs done different ways, pancakes, toast, coconut jam, peanut butter, jams, marmalade, a fresh variety of fruit and alot of other good food, some being baked goodies such as coconut filled buns, so yummy! The Samoan coffee was an added bonus of tasting great. In the morning, the setting was peaceful and relaxing with the many flowers, plants and bushes with the birds singing. Dean and his son Shane made very good margaritas, a definate must try! A clean hotel with a lovely family owning and running it. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and memorable, Gary and Cheryl.
