The scenery on Mull is breathtaking.

The scenery on Mull is breathtaking. Plenty places to eat and drink in and around Tobermory. Parking can be an issue, but there are plenty spaces around the harbour front. Be aware that most of the roads are single track, so respect the speed, especially on corners and use the passing places properly (no parking in them)

Lovely town in a very pretty bay.

Lovely town in a very pretty bay. However it is quite a drive to Iona from there although both the drive to get the Iona ferry and the town of Tobermory are well worth staying there. Excellent boat trips available to see wildlife

The best village on Isle of Mull with the best facilities.

The best village on Isle of Mull with the best facilities. Many restaurants but close by 10-11pm. One night and 1.5 days is more then enough. You can do some hikes and some boat trips which leaves 945am and visit the distillery which is really nice!

Tobermory is a great place, excellent walking from the centre; lovely shops and an iconic harbour. Very friendly and welcoming locals. Some super restaurants - e.g. The Galleon Bistro and Cafe Fish. Informative boat trips to see the wildlife in Tobermory Harbour in the little Tobermory Bay yellow boat. All in all, a brilliant stop off place for any visitor as there is something to please everyone.

A picture postcard setting and easily accessible on public transport from Craignure ferry terminal via West Coast Motors bus service (Route 95). Be aware though that the village can be very busy with visitors so if you want to dine out of an evening it's wise to book a table in advance at any of its restaurants. You wont be disappointed by the vittals!

Our stay on the Isle of Mull was made special by having the opportunity to book an entire apartment which was located in the famous colored houses of Tobermory. It was a two level apartment with bedroom and bath downstairs the kitchen and living room were upstairs. It was self-catered; but, the full kitchen with washing machine made it feel like home. We had no problem parking on the street which was at no cost. It was surprisingly quiet at night considering it was in the largest city on the Isle of Mull. The local store was close for supplies, there was several places to eat within easy walking distance and it was a good central location to see all of the Isle of Mull from. The stay was across the street from the town pier and clock tower. There shops along the main road to visit and buy souvenirs. A deposit is required. The cost is higher than some in the area; but, it would be considered to be an extravagant place to stay.

A lovely stay at a super clean B&B a few minutes walk from the sea front. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, very nice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and a buffet including bagels, croissants, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses. On-street parking right outside and very welcoming hosts. Ate at the Western Isles hotel one night and at a local Pub on the sea front the second - both very good.

Fantastic location. Very traditional hotel with lots of character. Room was very ‘cosy’ but only stayed for one night. Overall enjoyed our stay. Quite expensive for what it was but I guess that’s due to the limited amount of accommodation in Tobermory.
