Amazing staff free upgrade 😁 thankyou so much for being so accommodating! Only down side was a noisy night on the street outside with a few late night drinkers . Not to be helped I'm sure but maybe some sound proofing ? I also loved the welcome basket and the lady at breakfast was super friendly and helpful !

We felt like Claire and Alfie welcomed us into their home. It was easy to find, clean, friendly, delicious breakfasts and we enjoyed their hospitality and recommendations.

Everything…. Truly. I went around and walked through the most stunning parts of nature and found the standing stones. Fire was prepped for when I returned. We honestly just stayed close and luxuriated in this amazing castle.
Plenty to do and see. Boat trips available throughout the day. Lovely bright town with different eating venues. Chip shop had an amazing fish supper and batter lovely and crisp. Views at the harbour amazing and though it got a little busy it was still lovely and peaceful.

Tobermory was lovely. Nice shops and restaurants. If you like fish and shell fish you have come to the place. The local People were very helpful and friendly. We drove round the island it was stunning. If your active there are plenty of things to do.

Plenty places to eat and drink in and around Tobermory.
Parking can be an issue, but there are plenty spaces around the harbour front.
Be aware that most of the roads are single track, so respect the speed, especially on corners and use the passing places properly (no parking in them)

Lovely town in a very pretty bay. However it is quite a drive to Iona from there although both the drive to get the Iona ferry and the town of Tobermory are well worth staying there. Excellent boat trips available to see wildlife

The best village on Isle of Mull with the best facilities. Many restaurants but close by 10-11pm.
One night and 1.5 days is more then enough. You can do some hikes and some boat trips which leaves 945am and visit the distillery which is really nice!

Tobermory is a great place, excellent walking from the centre; lovely shops and an iconic harbour. Very friendly and welcoming locals. Some super restaurants - e.g. The Galleon Bistro and Cafe Fish. Informative boat trips to see the wildlife in Tobermory Harbour in the little Tobermory Bay yellow boat. All in all, a brilliant stop off place for any visitor as there is something to please everyone.

Amazing service from the staff at Harbour Guest House as well as their sister hotel, The Western Isles Hotel. Definitely recommend this spot for the location and really personable managers. After a mix-up on the first night, I really felt taken care of by Kirsty and Sophie. I ended up staying in Room 6 and the view was killer. Breakfast was tailored to my allergies and they even allowed a later check-out and stored my bags for me. Would recommend it to other 20-somethings trying to find themselves in Tobermory!
Room was clean, bright and comfortable. Nice to have a fridge in the rooms. The food was very good, there was a varied evening menu with a couple of daily specials. The staff were happy and friendly. They worked very hard and did a good job. The hotel is located a few minutes walk up the hill so we had a lovely view of the harbour from our room. May be a problem for those who struggle walking uphill.
Lynn’s flat was absolutely lovely - it was the perfect base for enjoying Tobermory and the beautiful Isle of Mull. The flat was immaculately clean and incredibly cosy, perfect for us and our two young boys. We had a really great stay there, and Lynn was the absolute perfect host - extremely friendly, kind, and informative. We look forward to going back.
Nice to have a base in Tobermory to set out from on each day of my trip to Mull. Breakfast was lovely and had a full menu to choose from each day. Enjoyed chatting with other guests and Claire who was very friendly and helpful in contextualising my mini adventure/providing advice re the ferry on the way back.
Gorgeous lounge with fab views, dining room also. Nice atmosphere and comfortable beds. Old hotel with charm . Lovely menu for evening meals ( make sure to book here or one of other good local places… mishnish, cafe fish or the galleon)
