We stayed as we were visiting family.

We stayed as we were visiting family. The town is nice and clean with loads of eateries of all cuisine. There is a railway connection that stops in Bexhill centre. A diversity of shops if that is your thing. Hastings is also close by connected by the A259 in under ten minutes where you can buy freshly caught sea food. Plenty of walking opportunity towards Normans Bay and Pevensey Bay.

We used to live in Bexhill but wanted a little break as we were having our bathroom refitted. Also it’s my husband’s special birthday year and our 35th anniversary this year. We thought the Hotel break would be a nice treat. Bexhill is flat and easy walking but pay to park in Central & surrounding areas.

    Bexhill is our happy place.

Bexhill is our happy place. We go to Bexhill whenever we can. It is clean, quiet and the people are very friendly, we absolutely love Bexhill. Lots of great places to eat. A great base for trips out to lots of places, historical eg Pevensey Castle, Battle Abbey Rye etc; other seaside destinations eg Eastbourne, Hastings and Brighton. Theatres in Eastbourne and Bexhill’s own De La Warr centre.

We were there to visit family, and this was not our first visit to Bexhill, however, there are lots of neat places to visit, a good variety of restaurants and cafes, shopping and easy accessibility either by walking or public transport. Great little town and well worth a visit.

Bexhill is a lovely quiet town with a fabulous prom.

Bexhill is a lovely quiet town with a fabulous prom. The stone beach is fabulous and great for walking along.. The town has many cafes, restaurants and good pubs along with nice shops and charity shops to mooch around. There is also a large out of town Marks and Spencer a couple of miles away. The train station is central and there is a good service to Hastings and Eastbourne as well as London.

Bexhill has some really interesting independent stores including an excellent material and haberdashery shop. The Pavillipn is well worth a visit and has some great displays and a good restaurant. The really lovely place to eat is the Trattoria along the sea front with such lovely staff. A lovely beach that exposes sand when the sea is out.

Great location next to the beach. Wonderful outside terrace. Friendly and helpful staff members who were very accommodating. The hotel is very well furbished and is a luxurious place to stay. The room was small but decorated to a high standard providing windows that could be opened and a view to the sea. The power shower was superb! Breakfast was the highlight. Everything was available and the service provided by the catering team was magnificent. I like to refer to hotels like this as places for sensible grown ups!

Great location, very quiet and the long promenade just across the street. Inside, the apartment was very comfortable and had most of what is needed for self catering except for two things that we couldn’t find : a bread knife, and a sieve/colander, essential for anyone surely! Large sofas for lounging and relaxing, after a ten minute walk back from any of the several great places to eat in Bexhill. We also found safe roadside parking about ten minutes away on foot, heading towards Cooden.

We had such a lovely stay. The property was central to everything placed as it is in Bexhill.Close to shops,Pubs, the beach & The De La Warr Pavilion. We booked for Bed & breakfast & had a first evening meal here at The Driftwood. The food is exceptional. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We were supplied with Hotel Guest parking tickets & didn’t have a problem getting a space even though we moved the car to visit family. The Management & staff were lovely. So welcoming.
