Parking was convenient easy and part of the deal.

Parking was convenient easy and part of the deal. The hotels situation on the beach is fantastic. Very open plan and cold at times both sitting and dining and not very cosy. No lift, nice room and ensuite but fire door right at the top step of the stairs was unhelpful, meals were adequate but not of great quality. Breakfast was disorganised.

Bexhill-on-Sea is a fairly quiet place with plenty of independant shops a train station and frequent buses. There is a nice promenade which is flat and is nice to walk along. The Del a Warr Pavilion is a good place to take in a concert. There are plenty of places to eat, but we went to The Picture Play House a former cinema which is now a Wetherspoons pub and restaurant which served up a variety of food to suit us. As it was only an overnight stay we didn't explore all of the places we could have in the area, but we would definitely come back again.

We didn't visit in the town in the daytime.

We didn't visit in the town in the daytime. We were at the Hotel as a base to visit Battle Abbey. Our friend, who lives in Bexhill, said that it is a pleasant place to live. There is a vibrant Restaurant culture in the centre, with a great choice of establishments where you can eat. We had an excellent meal at a Restaurant called Picasso, which we would recommend.

Bexhill Museum is a must visit.

Bexhill Museum is a must visit. Staff were amazing, going above and beyond giving us a superb experience and sharing their knowledge. Bexhill have plenty of good shops, with a very relaxed atmosphere. We walked from Bexhill Old Town Retreat into the town centre and beach. Very easy to find our way around. We also cycled to Hastings Old Town along the coastal path, although hilly in places, still a pleasant trip. If you are looking for a few days away relaxing, I would highly recommend.

Bexhill is a lovely seaside town.

Bexhill is a lovely seaside town. The rail station is central and close to the beach. There is a good selection of shops, where you can pick up something unusual if looking for yourself or as a gift. There is a good selection of coffee shops, pubs and places to eat. The front is within easy walking distance and has maintained its slight old fashioned seaside air. The De La Warr Pavilion is within easy reach and there is often something going on in there. If you come by car there is an industrial estate not far with bigger stores, but beware Bexhill is now resident parking so you will be charged to park. Its a fabulous little town and I highly recommend a trip here but book early as there are not that many hotels and guest houses, so can get rather busy during peak times.

We stayed as we were visiting family.

We stayed as we were visiting family. The town is nice and clean with loads of eateries of all cuisine. There is a railway connection that stops in Bexhill centre. A diversity of shops if that is your thing. Hastings is also close by connected by the A259 in under ten minutes where you can buy freshly caught sea food. Plenty of walking opportunity towards Normans Bay and Pevensey Bay.

Sam(antha) was lovely to converse with. Anything we needed to talk about i.e the e-mail I deleted with the WiFi password :-( she was a quick call away. Cant praise her enough. The place is phenomenal, easy access to the beach, a lovely hotel 2mins down the road with a nice little area for a meal or a nice oceanic beer or two ;-) Overall 5 stars. Thanks Sam.

Coast B&B is moments from the seafront and very close to all the local shops and cafes in Bexhill. The whole place is spotlessly clean and stylish. Our room was well equipped with everything we needed . Superb breakfast with heaps of choice and all freshly cooked. Lucia was just lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
