I cannot say what I like about this property because I did not have a chance to stay there due to hotel being overbooked.. i was send to a different hotel..

The property offers a decent experience, but the rooms are quite basic and small, consisting of just a bed, a small table, and a bathroom. The balcony was a highlight, though it was furnished with a simple plastic table. The room lacked any decor, and guests are required to put on their own bed covers and pillowcases. However, the reception area is warm and inviting, well-decorated with a cozy atmosphere.
There is ample parking, and the staff was helpful, even offering the use of their kitchenette, though it wasn’t very clean. The property’s proximity to the main road means there's constant traffic noise. Due to a lack of staff, the property wasn’t as well-maintained as it could be. On a positive note, they have a few goats and bunnies, as well as a small area for barbeque and outdoor seating.
A recently renovated chalet, 5 room house Joch Churwalden- Lenzerheide offers accommodations in Churwalden. The chalet, set in a building dating from 1970, offers free Wifi and free private parking.

People are very nice. They had a breakfast in the morning, which was convenient as we were just staying overnight to catch a train in the morning.
The Hotel Franziskaner is housed in a charming historical building in the Old Town of Chur. The famous Churer Obertor is 164 feet away, and the train station can be reached on foot in 8 minutes.

It was a lovely propetty on the easy to access location. Clean and well equipped- it was first time in my 30 years of renting where property was equipped with sharp knives. The owner was very good with communication over the mail and was quick to respond. Churwalden is a small place with stores and all you need is close to your hand. Property is a kilometer away from the elevator, but you can store your equipment at the locker and walking would not be an issue. There is good connectivity with Chur and PostAuto goes twice an hour.
The hotel is very nice and modern. There is a huge parking lot and a well equipped ski room. The SPA is perhaps a bit small for such a big hotel.
The rooms are spacious, clean and complete with any type of amenity you would need. The bed was very comfortable!
This hotel has a storied past, the very lovely manager explaining all about this hotel...and she couldnt have been more helpful. This hotel will suit all kinds of travelers...families, couples etc. Its location is close to Chur, but in its own village.
We only stayed one night. The manager and family running it were very friendly and the hotel was exactly what we needed for the night that we were there.
