The hotel is very well located to the city and the main train station. We arrived by ferry into Bergen and had to take a taxi from the harbour terminal to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were happy with our room. Breakfast was very good with a good variety. We also ate dinner at the hotel and it was also very good. Free tea, coffee and water were available in the hotel lobby - this was actually the case at most hotels we stayed at in Norway. It was easy to walk into Bergen city centre from the hotel and also see the main sights.

Gateway to the western fjords, Bergen is a picture-perfect postcard of Norway at its best. Colorful, wooden houses in UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bryggen contrast wonderfully with the lush greenery of the surrounding Seven Mountains.
For fantastic views of Norway’s 2nd largest city, hop on the cable car to Ulriken Mountain. Alternatively, hike or take the funicular railway up to Fløyen Mountain. With beaches sheltered from the North Sea by islands, Bergen is Norway’s busiest port and a popular starting point for fjord cruises and deep sea fishing.
The fish market in the narrow streets of the historic centre is a popular attraction, while just north is 12th-century St Mary’s Church. Around 1,000 years younger is Bergenhus, one of Norway’s best-preserved forts. Further north is Gamle Bergen, a reconstructed wooden village offering insight into the past.
Cobbled Strandgaten street and Lagunen Storsenter shopping center are just some shopping options, but items aren’t cheap. As you wander around the city look for work by Dolk, Norway’s best-known street artist. Other cultural attractions include many museums and a good music scene ranging from classic to indie.
Booking.com’s range of Bergen accommodation extends out towards Bergen Airport in Flesland, the departure point for many workers on the offshore oil and gas rigs.
The old town and the history and culture were amazing.
The old town and the history and culture were amazing. Rain or no rain, wouldn't miss it for the world!
The weather was awful - raining all the time and no chance of an aurora sighting. Couldn't go on the cable car, or hike or walk around town much because of the rain. I would love to go back in better weather though!

Great place!
Great place! Its a sight to behold during the night with such well lit luminous buildings and so scenic during the day. So much to see in this place. The Bryggen area, the funicular and the port area are a few of the highlights. Plenty of eating options. I ate at Namaste Bergen and Subway and liked both. Public transport is great and one can use the Skyss app to buy tickets.

The people were awesome! Public transportation was very efficient. We ate at the hotel and were only there one night, the night before leaving for a cruise. There wasn't really anything open at the time we were there.

Bergen has the reputation as the wettest city in Europe and it did indeed rain on one day of our stay. The other day was bright and cold and we were able to walk around the city, take the funicular up the mountain and walk around the forest there. On return we visited the fortress and its military museum which is well presented and all exhibits have English explanations. It also provides the only free cup of coffee in Bergen!

Hotel is located in the convinient location near to city centre. Hotel facilities are great. Services are limited, there is no permanent staff at the reception and there is necessary to make self check-in and check-out. Also there is no breakfast options, but you can use the fridge in the lobby. On the other hand, this is a three star hotel and you are in Norway, so you can expect this.
Such a fantastic hotel. Comfortable, stylish, staff absolutely lovely and a brilliant location. Out of the centre of Bergen but right by the sea and easy to get into town with tram or 15 min walk through a lovely park.
I think you would struggle to find somewhere this reasonably priced in Norway where you can eat breakfast by the sea on a sunny day!
The location is excellent as it locates between attractions. The hotel is classic and monumental for Bergen. The breakfast and bed are all good. Our room is spacious and with some views. One of the few hotels in Norway where we have plenty of space for pieces of luggage.
Games, free coffee, spa, and location. Really great!
Also receptionists or waiters we’re all fantastic. Also breakfast soooo many options!!!
And all that for an affordable and low price compared to other hotels in Bergen/Norway.
Brand new beautiful boutique Hotel. Our room was lovely smell of new wood , bathroom great , breakfast was the best I had in Norway. Staff very friendly, location perfect.
