Everything! The place is located in a UNESCO protected heritage town, so although the price was high but the host and the property compensated for the price.
The host was warm and welcoming despite the language barrier. After a long day of travelling and sightseeing it was a pleasure to come back to the room for a good night's rest.
The host had taken care of thinking of every tiny details that someone on entry to the house (before one gets a chance to go to the town).
Highly recommend this place!

We upgraded to the superior room and loved all the space that came with it. There were huge windows that let in a lot of light and a view of some of the city, but kept out the sound of the nearby train station. The bed was massive and super comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful.

The Van der Valk at Oostkamp is ideal for those travelling from Calais / Folkstone and onward to central Europe. For us, it's the perfect distance from Sheffield on our way to Germany. It has wonderful facilities, a great restaurant and bar. It is a short distance (less than 250m) from the E40 and there are petrol (gas) stations nearby to fill up. Balconies on the upper storeys and terraces on the lower floors, are for those who like to get outside their room for fresh air. The very minor drawback is the constant sussurance from the traffic on the E40. We've stayed multiple times and shall stay there again.

Brilliant B&B, couldn't fault it! The facilities, location and B&B exceeded our expectations, the photos do not capture just how lovely the place is. We had a wonderful stay and would love to go back in the summer months. We travelled into Bruges town every day, the NYE laser show was brilliant. We drove into town and used their under cover parking at T Zand where the rates were very good, all day parking costs around £12, which was cheaper than the park and ride bus option for a family of four.
Exceptional facilities and a very convenient location. Splendid breakfast as you expect at hotels in the group. Very comfortable hotel rooms and professional staff. You can always be assured of a good stay at these hotels.
Very modern, clean, spacious property. Easy to get into Brugge via the train (7 min walk to station, from the property, then a 7 min train ride and 10 min walk into the centre via a picturesque park).
Fantastic cottage, perfectly equipped, very nice nature around and close to Brugge. Charging station for electric cars in front of the cottage. Super easy check-in and -out. Certainly will come back!
Tiny apartment but very cosy. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. With a 10 minute walk you have a bus line to Brugge and even at night it goes back.
