The Van der Valk at Oostkamp is ideal for those travelling from Calais / Folkstone and onward to central Europe. For us, it's the perfect distance from Sheffield on our way to Germany. It has wonderful facilities, a great restaurant and bar. It is a short distance (less than 250m) from the E40 and there are petrol (gas) stations nearby to fill up. Balconies on the upper storeys and terraces on the lower floors, are for those who like to get outside their room for fresh air. The very minor drawback is the constant sussurance from the traffic on the E40. We've stayed multiple times and shall stay there again.

This place has a beautiful countryside location but is also very close to Brugge and Oostkamp. it’s a picturesque place to stay and the hosts are very nice people and very helpful, the best place I’ve stayed in Belgium .
Very modern, clean, spacious property. Easy to get into Brugge via the train (7 min walk to station, from the property, then a 7 min train ride and 10 min walk into the centre via a picturesque park).
