Paris offers so much for solo travelers like me. The city never seems to run out of options for visitors to spend their days. From museuma like Musee D'Orsay) to jazz cluba like Jazz Club Etoile to restaurants like the Clover Grill, Paris featured all the things I enjoy about traveling abroad. Now, I wish the traffic there wasn't so horrific, but that's what you'll face whenever you journey to a big, international city, which Paris is.

It was excellent, locals very friendly.
It was excellent, locals very friendly. DO NOT FLY INTO OR FROM ORLY AIRPORT, rudest people I have ever encountered, missed a flight due to no fault of our own, not one staff member acknowledged our pleas re how soon we had to board, arrived at airport 3-1/2 hours prior to flight. 1-1/2 hours to check 1 bag in. Rest of the time trying to clear customs.

I really appreciate the kindness of Paris people, the food is testy & amazing, the train system is fair price & incredible, there is no need of car but the only thing I don’t like is that you have to pay 1 euro for using toilette & in the toilette they don’t have toilette seat cover paper. I also visited some neighboring countries Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, England, Spain, Portugal & Denmark but they also don’t have the toilette cover paper. In most places of Europe, they don’t have AC during summer which is hot season.

Transportation is excellent but expensive.
Transportation is excellent but expensive. The city is beautiful, but you need a guide. A boat trip on the Seine is a must. You have to see the Eiffel Tower. You have to walk on Montmartre. The Montparnesse tower is a must.

I live in NYC so take great pleasure in walking everywhere I go. And Paris is a great walking city. I took a walking tour of Montmartre and a food tour of the Marais....both great with good guides and friendly participants. Buying reserved tickets for museums helps out a lot because the ticket lines are long. Eat whatever pleases you....you rarely will go wrong.

Great walking around and experiencing the wonderful...
Great walking around and experiencing the wonderful architecture and history. Excellent restaurants and live jazz music.
We loved staying in the Latin quarter. The 5th Arrondissement was perfect. Very easy to access to the metro and busses.
I’ve stayed at this hotel for many years largely due to location but given the amount of money that this place must have generated through the years it has not been reflected in updating the quality of rooms and common areas,It’s 3 star at best but charging 5 star money, We want to support and be loyal to smaller business but this place needs revamping not just patched up .It’s shoddy and disappointing , There really are no excuses for this given the level of quality accommodation you can get in Paris now for a cheaper price,
I've stayed in many small Paris hotels and this one had the best decor, was the cleanest and in the best state of maintenance of any of them that I can remember - exceeding expectations. Staff were perfectly helpful. There is free coffee in the lobby and a wide selection of alcoholic drinks to buy. There wasn't much fresh fruit at breakfast but the croissants were very fresh and flaky, not the cheap chewy long-life kind.
I was expecting a much bigger bedroom - the picture from the hotel was misleading. It was really tiny, same for bathroom. I presume that there are very different 3 stars hotels in Paris, so I will look for something less cheap next time, but with bigger room.
Location was of course convenient, you are very close from the main center, there are nice bars and restaurants around. And... the price was still competitive.
It’s a great place to rest with good views! The rooms are small and compact and it’s a great fit for a night’s sleep! As the name says it’s a budget hotel and cheaper compared to many hotels in Paris. So did not expect too much but it’s worth the price in Paris. The breakfast was good.
this hotel is old and a bit rundown but so much cheaper than anything else in Paris, the staff are super nice and the rooms are cleaned every day. Would stay again.
