Paris is a wonderful city. Beautiful building. Very walkable city. Great food. Much larger crowds than there were 20 years ago. I understand why there are anti-terrorist barriers but it also makes enjoying the sights worse.

Paris is a city of timeless charm, blending rich history, iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, and world-class art at the Louvre. Its romantic streets, vibrant cafés, and diverse cuisine make every corner captivating. While its beauty is undeniable, crowds and driving can be challenging, so using the well-connected public transport system is highly recommended.

So lively!
So lively! Paris has always been one of my favorite cities to visit. Everything is full of personality and there is so much to do: food and shops everywhere! Sightseeing in every corner. You can just feel the life, the history of this city! Even when it’s cold and rainy it’s so enjoyable!
Morning coffee/quick breakfast would recommend any café around the corner, they pretty much offer the same. Tip: seating inside is cheaper than outside!
Also, if you don’t want to sit and eat, would 100% recommend any crêpe stand you find, best part about Paris: walking around while eating a fresh made crêpe!
To get around the city, metro is the easiest and most reliable way. Super easy to use and so well connected. If you don’t mind walking, plan your sightseeing spots to be closer by, if not you’ll end up walking 45K steps in one day lol
If you go during Christmas, there are plenty of markets you can go to. We did Notre Dame, Tuileries, Tour Eiffel and La Defense. If you are around downtown, worth checking the first three. If you don’t mind taking metro to La Defense, I would say that one is the best one for sure, as it’s much bigger. It’s also right by a shopping mall, so if you get cold, you can go in and shop around.

I am in my late 50's - just to be clear .
I am in my late 50's - just to be clear . Crowds and standing too long in qeues are not my thing . Do your research in terms of best times to visit a sight or restaurant . Dont fill the itenerary to the brim. Make one or 2 planned events for the day and go with the flow from there- Explore and experience true Paris . Aura Invalides is a must on your itenarary . Musee d Orsay also less overwhelming than the Louvre. We took a daytrip to Mont st Michel - was fantastic !!!! I am in Paris with my 18 year old son . Enjoying every special moment

For such a central location, I think the price we paid was worth it. There were much cheaper options outside the city centre but we thought the convenience of being in such a central and lively part of town was worth it. The room was small as is in every typical hotel room in Paris. But it was clean, had comfy beds, a nice window and view and airconditioning, which we needed the most when we went in the summer. They also have free luggage storage and breakfast for an additional fee (restaurant was at the ground floor).
Great location. Extremely clean rooms, bathroom was a bit small but that is not a problem especially because it's Paris. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels bedsheets everything. Lovely lobby area in the hotel. Breakfast was good, just the usual pastries bread cereal but cheaper than going to a cafe! 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and easy access every other major attraction by the metro stations near by. Nice area too with lots of nice restaurants and cafes. Had a really good stay here.
The Hotel was super clean, which is really not commen in Paris! The bed was very comfortabel and in the 5th floor I had a little french balcony. Overall I must say it was the best hotel in Paris I stayed in for that budget and will book it again. I booked it without breakfast and there are plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars around.
The staff was very nice and spoke english.
Great location. I was travelling with my adult son, so it was great they could accommodate a twin room easily (some hotels in Paris can't!) Nice reception area, bigger than most cheaper hotels I've stayed in in Paris. Clean and comfortable beds.
One of the very cheap hotel and very clean and a very environmental place to stay and enjoy your time in Paris. Coffees in the morning tasting very nice and strong.A hotel with a room service of an expensive hotel.
