After check-in they bring Wi-Fi router to your room for the best connection. I had a problem activating my SIM-card and staff spent 25 minutes assisting me with that, appreciate it! There are 2 restaurants just beside the hotel - so don't worry looking for a food there. Breakfast is in one of them. Price is the best in Dili, literally.

Nice and friendly pickup from airport by hotel supplied car, got some insight information about Timor Leste /Dili on this drive to the hotel. Room size is great, however room in B4 no hot water. The sink is overflowing drain, which can be annoying. Daily cleaning. Laundry service is available too and much appreciated! The bar is good with a nice selection and so is breakfast, every day a little bit change on the menu, keep it up!

Balibo Fort Hotel is a truly unique travel experience, the quality of stay was like nothing else we experienced in Timor Leste. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean and wonderfully decorated, whilst being surrounded by elements of the fort. The pool was an absolute highlight, with wonderful views of the local mountain ranges. The food was excellent, and there is a huge breakfast. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, it was so lovely to see so many young people getting experience in hospitality. The hotel is in very close proximity to the Australian Flag House/Museum, and there is a wonderfully kept museum onsite at the entrance gateway, with a broader focus on Timor Leste's history.
