It is a short walk to the main areas with tons of restaurants/bars and has a great view of the volcano with a little patio for a morning coffee. The owners were extremely friendly & we even went on a little nature walk around the property to see some frogs which was awesome. Pool was nice after a long day of adventuring as well.

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Great view for the volcano when the weather is nice. The garden is amazing with beautiful flowers and birds. Well equipped, cozy room, hotel stuff was really friendly, the pool was nice. The breakfast was okay, not really special. It is close to the center of the town, many restaurants are nearby.

We loved everthing: room, bed, patio, swimming pool, place for tea. Games area. Location very close to few restaurants and on the way to National Park and Mistico Park. So nice Staff. And garden so beautiful, we observed every day colibers and other birds. One of the best hotels ever. Thank you!

The facility is owner operated. He is friendly and can speak English, although he is Spanish. Most willing to try to get us to a specific tour by calling the organisers. The room was spacious and the swimming a great relieve in the heat of Puerto Viejo. About 300 metres from the sea and very nice beach restaurants.

Very friendly staff and let us have an early checkin! The hot spring in Volcano Lodge is a bonus, by pools with different temperatures! Breakfast is nice with fresh fruits!
