Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Very very friendly and helpful staff, helped me with arranging the tours and updates; really nice environment with birds (and hummingbird) on site, and the staff kindly pointed out the sloth on the tree near the entrance and a beautiful lizard on the fence. location 5 minutes walk to downtown and very close to gorgeous restaurants. Have a beautiful view of the volcano with pool facilities great for cooling down after a long day. Comfy beds and well-functioning air cons, very clean environment and weirdly really little mosquitos.

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. When we arrived I saw one of the most breath taking views ever. The volcano is so close and makes a crazy impression. I could just stare at it. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, breath taking view on the volcano, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. I recommend visiting nearby restaurants as there are so many just a few minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was a dinner at the hotel restaurant- it was expensive and really not too tasty. Very „Americanized” menu. I would rather have something local and simple. Breakfasts were wonderful though.

Everything’s just perfect. Starting with the room which was clean and had all you need. In addition to that, you’re close to the centre. you have a choice of different options for breakfast. Angela and Armando are super nice helping you out with everything. We can highly recommend you to do the Sloth Tour and the Night Walk through their own garden. We also spotted two Tucans and a Kolibri during the day. Thank you for having us!

Centrally located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca town centre and just a 3-minute walk from Salsa Brava Beach, Hotel Indalo adults only features an extensive garden, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. So much! The room was large, clean, free from bugs, and totally safe. The pool was nice. The AC was great. And staff was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Puerto Viejo so much better than we had expected. The location is also excellent - not too far from the main city center, but removed enough so that noise isn’t really an issue. great visit.

Situated in Fortuna, 2.8 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabinas La Catarata features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We had an incredible stay! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was amazing. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the view was simply breathtaking. We loved every moment of our time here and can’t wait to come back!

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We stayed here In February. Our brief stay was like being in Shangri-la, a utopian escape from the world. Hopefully visitors will take the time to just sit and watch and listen. Watch the clouds as they change shape over Arenal, notice and listen to the hummingbirds and other beautiful birds. There is also a small “farm” area with chickens, roosters, ducks and a gorgeous flamingo. Eggs are gathered each morning and left in the self-serve kitchen for breakfast. The kitchen is where you can get your morning coffee, make your own breakfast and meet other guests. There is a supermarket and many restaurants within walking distance if you choose not to drive. We were in #12, one of the beautiful newer casitas. When you arrive the friendly, welcoming staff - either Elizabeth or Eugenia - will greet you, show you where to park and take you on a tour. The property is secured with an electronic gate. There are walking trails on the grounds and clean walkways that lead to all the common areas. Children will love being able to be so close to farm animals. The property encompasses everything I love about Costa Rica…NATURE.

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Super friendly staff. Nice pool, all day free coffee and tea. Entrance to another resort 7km apart with outdoor workout area (incl weights, calisthenics park etc), hot springs and many more pools. Super central but quiet. Breakfast buffet (however mainly costarican food and partially a little greasy) but also daily vegetables and fruit. Amazing price-performance.
