The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. A fantastic city.
A fantastic city. Most people would go for 3-4 days, but just to cover the old historical city takes 4-5 days, allowing for some queuing at the main attractions. There are many guides, but the Booking.com guide for Basilica Cistern was great value for money and our guide Hal was knowledgable and exceptional.
There is an arts and craft arcade near the Blue Mosque which has a cafe (great value), and offerings of prints, paintings and crafts. Recommend exploring the back streets for great food and gifts - often at prices the locals would pay.

Istanbul was a gateway to the world in old times, its history is fantastic and a pride is taken of this by locals.
Everywhere looked was ancient architecture to be admired ...how did they build that 30-4,000 years ago??? Must see Cistern a marvel, must see the blue Mosque, street markets and the Grand Bazar is a sight to believe.
By ferry up to the Black Sea opening and marvel at the properties on the shore line. To be enjoyed, safe as ever.

A city in move. Lots of sights, restaurants, etc. Travelling in the city by car is also solvable, though transportation seems good. The city is more secure than lot of cities in Europe. Bosphorus is marvellous. Just sit and watch the ships. Besiktas, Ortaköy, Karaköy are all nice places.

I loved the shopping and history of Istanbul.
I loved the shopping and history of Istanbul. The Turkish Tea & coffee.
How-ever I did not like the manner in which the people smoke so openly on people. All my new shopping was stinking of smoke.
There are a few people that openly scam. Be it the taxi driver or the shop keepers.
Excellent service! The hotel staff was always pleasant and willing to help. And a special thanks for an upgrade and other complimentary things. The coffee in lobby is amazing by the way:)
Room was clean and big.
I was surprised that vale parking was free! In 5 star hotels it is usually, but for Istanbul it’s not always like this))
Just a perfect impression, I will highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for the hotel in asian side. Location is perfect for Sabiha airport
This property has almost everything one wants during travel. I stayed with my family for 04 nights. we were warmly welcomed and offered best hospitality possible. location is great. Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life.
Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy. He arranged a bosphorus cruise dinner trip and airport transfer at very good rate. He offered all kind of assistance wherever required. Highly recommend for stay.
One of the best hotel in Istanbul where I stayed. Great location near Stiklal street and Taksim square and park. Also you can visit Galat tower and Dolchebache palace by walking.
The room is entire flat with many amenities.
The view from windows was awesome.
We had a good night sleep.
Friendly and kind receptionist.
Good price.
Ten minutes walk and you on Havis bus stop. From it you can ride to the airports.
Fantastic hotel and great staff with amazing customer service. The location is by far one of the best in the Taksim side of Istanbul. Taksim square is a mere 5 minutes walk as is the Taksim metro. And Istiklal street is also 5-7 mins by walk. Close to all city transport links too. Good variety breakfast and a super clean hotel. Thank you to the staff for a great stay.
Location is fantastic, walking distance to Taksim square, and walking distance to Nishantashi. Metro station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Room is specious and bath shower is fabulous. Beds not very comfortable but is ok.
