Breakfast was amazing with a good choice of items. Plenty of tea or coffee to keep the cold out.
All staff were very welcoming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
We had a very pleasant meal in the Whitetails restaurant on our second evening, which was of excellent quality . Breakfast was a delight and very enjoyable. Cooked options were served freshly prepared and piping hot, excellent service on both our breakfast mornings.

A very picturesque place with wild ponies sharing the green spaces with us humans. The weather during our visit was not ideal and didn’t really afford us the opportunity to explore Brockenhurst as much as I wanted. I personally would love to return in the summer months to explore this area more.

Brockenhurst is a beautiful place, always ensure we visit when on the forest. Fabulous trinket shops, pet store and a bakery that always has a queue outside for good reason. A number of independent local shops to support. Normally either donkeys or cows taking a leisurely stroll up the middle of the High Street

Enjoyed our stay at the Brockenhurst ! Highly recommend.
We only stayed for one night and it was the perfect base to explore the New Forest. We would return for sure.
The hotel is beautiful, and our room was perfect, bed was so comfortable!
NO TV but really NOT an issue for us at all.
Ideally I would of liked a little RADIO which I have in my bedroom at home, just like listening to music & the news in the mornings when I am getting ready.
The breakfast was absolutely perfect, we really enjoyed it so much !
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely picturesque village in the heart of the New Forest.
Lovely picturesque village in the heart of the New Forest. Easy to get to by train from London, Bournemouth or Southampton. A great centre or cycling or walking. Village centre is compact with lovely local shops, pubs and restaurants. Not cheap but then you would expect that. C
The Commoners Bar on Brookley Road is reasonably priced and has excellent food especially the pizzas which are made on the premises. The Foresters Arms also on Brookley Road, serves good home made food as does the Huntsman on Lyndhurst Road. All the pubs are super dog friendly.
Not a place to vitit if you are scared of horses and donkeys as they roam free pretty much throughout the village and surrounding areas.

We loved its location, as it is within the New Forest and the forest is on the doorstep. The hotel even has bicycles that can be borrowed free of charge. The room we had was on the second floor. Very warm (it was freezing outside) and cosy. As we entered the room, the bedside Roberts radio was quietly playing Classic FM! After a good night's sleep we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, cooked to our order. All in all it was a very comfortable hotel.
This is the most gorgeous little thatched hotel- we loved it. A perfect base to explore the new forest from, the room we were in seeped history, with low doorways exposed beams and ancient quirks. And luxury, with a big warm plump duvet. The breakfast was the best I have had all year, the house white wine is juicy and the staff are fantastic. Will always recommend this hotel! 👌
The accommodation was well presented, spacious and super clean, in fact much better than the pictures. Our teenagers appreciated the separate bedrooms too😀. The house is right in the middle of Brockenhurst and there are ponies everywhere !!! It’s perfect for both walks in the new Forest and the beautiful beaches.
Location was good,we arrived by train.Easy access to buses.Several pubs and restaurants within 10 minute walk.Hotel was not too large, very comfortable and clean.
