The staff were all exceptional and attentive and made the stay more special by dressing the room with birthday decorations and giving my partner a little chocolate cake with our dinner, all not asked for.

Brockenhurst is a beautiful place, always ensure we visit when on the forest. Fabulous trinket shops, pet store and a bakery that always has a queue outside for good reason. A number of independent local shops to support. Normally either donkeys or cows taking a leisurely stroll up the middle of the High Street

Enjoyed our stay at the Brockenhurst ! Highly recommend.
We only stayed for one night and it was the perfect base to explore the New Forest. We would return for sure.
The hotel is beautiful, and our room was perfect, bed was so comfortable!
NO TV but really NOT an issue for us at all.
Ideally I would of liked a little RADIO which I have in my bedroom at home, just like listening to music & the news in the mornings when I am getting ready.
The breakfast was absolutely perfect, we really enjoyed it so much !
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely picturesque village in the heart of the New Forest.
Lovely picturesque village in the heart of the New Forest. Easy to get to by train from London, Bournemouth or Southampton. A great centre or cycling or walking. Village centre is compact with lovely local shops, pubs and restaurants. Not cheap but then you would expect that. C
The Commoners Bar on Brookley Road is reasonably priced and has excellent food especially the pizzas which are made on the premises. The Foresters Arms also on Brookley Road, serves good home made food as does the Huntsman on Lyndhurst Road. All the pubs are super dog friendly.
Not a place to vitit if you are scared of horses and donkeys as they roam free pretty much throughout the village and surrounding areas.

Brockenhurst is a great location for visiting the New Forest. It's a lovely place to stay with great pubs and shops. You can easily walk or cycle into some lovely forest and heathland areas without needing to use a car. A bonus is the coast is only a few miles away.

The location couldn't have been better. Right in the heart of the New Forest with animals on the doorstep. Very well equipped cottage and a lovely little private garden.
The bottles of wine on arrival were a lovely welcome as was the basket of biscuits and tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
The gate through to the hotel car park was very handy for going into the hotel to use the spa.
We would recommend a meal at Beresford, the restaurant in Balmer Lawn hotel, the food and service were fabulous.
We are regular guests are the Cottage Lodge hotel and as usual the service is top notch, the room incredibly well appointed and breakfast a true delight!
No other hotels in the region beat the Cottage Lodge Hotel. The staff is always friendly, rooms very cleaned, and we love the fact that sustainable and local products are being used.
We will be back soon to our favourite getaway.
The location of the Huntsman was suberb right in the centre of Brockenhurst so easy access to local shops and for walks in the new forest.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious with a nice big bed and tea and coffee facilities which were replenished daily.
Cottage was well equipped, clean and welcoming with several extras and treats. Garden areas to sit out in,welcome as very hot during stay.
Ten minutes walk to pubs and restaurants, five to shops.
Brockenhurst in centre of Forest so easy travelling.
Very comfortable superking bed, excellent breakfast with lovely view of Shetland ponies, warm welcome. Rural surroundings but within a very easy drive of Brockenhurst, Sway and other laces to visit in the New Forest and on the coast.
