The back of the coffee machine was dirty.
There was food which had fallen of the table on the floor in the restaurant in the old wing.
None of the waiters bothered to clean it up. It was chips which a child who previously occupied the table had dropped.

The location of the hotel was great and only a short walk from the Petronas towers, Suria KLCC and Pavillion mall. What a lovely welcome we had from Karen as she greeted us at reception. In fact, all the staff that we spoke to were very nice and friendly. The room was large and comfortable and had an array of amenities. The food and beverage was perfectly adequate. Although we did not use the spa we accessed the well maintained pool daily.

Nice modern city. Kids loved the Chinatown market.
Nice modern city. Kids loved the Chinatown market. Cheap food and very cheap taxis. If you travel in a group of 4 it is most of the time cheaper to take taxi(grab) than the sky train. What we liked the best was the infinity rooftop pool with awesome views of the KL city line with Patonas towers.

Food is cheap, others are expensive especially taxis.
Food is cheap, others are expensive especially taxis. Smokers will get a hard place to smoke as there are specific places to smoke. Cigarettes are expensive. Local foods are not as good as the others. Rain is a common scenario but it is hot outside. Grab/taxi is very much available. A lot of migrant workers. Malaysian Airlines was a very bad service provider. May cancel/reschedule your flight at the last moment without hesitating.

Easy to get around, a wide array of efficient public transport. Easy to get a Grab if public transport doesn’t suit. A wide selection of easily accessible tourists attractions. Lunch at KL Tower well worth the cost, minimal compared with Petronius Towers. Friendly helpful people everywhere, nothing is a problem. Great selection of malls, huge selection of items for sale. Food courts well priced and the food is high quality. Express train from the airport to Sentra station very efficient.

Lovely place. Easy to navigate if you know English.
Lovely place. Easy to navigate if you know English. Very cosmopolitan and a modern city.
Relatively economical travel destination as you would find the cost of hotel, meals at the restaurants and transport quite reasonable. There is an excellent choice for shopping : a few open street markets where you can bargain and also nice upmarket shopping malls with designer clothes, branded goods and other fancy items.

We are not visiting Kuala Lumpur - we're relocating here for work and have lived here previously. Kuala Lumpur can be considered a large city with a mixture of modern infrastructure - train / MRT for example - and old / modern architecture. It is multi-cultural and offers a variety of culinary experiences, shopping and sightseeing.
Nice room, just as described on Booking webside. Very close to the KL Sentral, just pass the nearby shopping mall and try to get down to street lever, then you just have made the most of the journey. Walk towards the big silvery tower and after max 10 minutes you are there. Righthand north of the hotel are many Indian restaurants and temples. Money as well as supplies can be received at the two gas stations on the way to the hotel. Perfect location coming and leaving by train, which is a very good choice according to my experience.
Very clean, replenished water/coffee daily. Toothbrush is provided (seems to be important for some Asian travellers). Had a small gym on 5th floor. Spacious rooftop accessible. Small rooms but great property for a short stay. Centrally located next to KL Sentral Station (Bricksfield/Little India). Big shopping mall opposite the hotel. We had to leave early to get to the airport so it was very convenient. Small breakfast is a choice of 6 set menus.
Firstly the location of Traders Hotel is within walking distance to KLCC and Bukit Bintang. It is centrally located, easy access to carpark for those who drives and if you prefer to explore KL on foot and public transport not a problem. I'm happy with the room as it is spacious and with a nice view of the park facing KLCC.
