I was a solo senior female traveller and I felt very safe in KL. I was careful where I went and didn't stay out very late, but I enjoyed my 2nd trip there very much and I don't feel that I missed out on seeing anything. I had bought a sim at the airport, downloaded the GRAB App for easy pickups and went on a 4 hour tour

I adore KL, that's a great big city with the modern newscrapers and rich history. I like walking along the streets and parks of KL.
In KL you really could find everything you need: culture, museums, beautiful places, good restaurants. That's convenient to move around the city - by taxi Grab or by metro, where it is clean, cool and everything is clear.
A very important point - the city is safe and you can safely walk alone even in the evening.

Fantastic city. Lovely people.
Fantastic city. Lovely people. Can’t get enough of those beautiful high rises. The food! Yummy.
Not much by way of shopping though as things are more
expensive than in Australia.( Genting highland premium outlet better with great scenery and cooler weather.)
Favourite spot would be the Petronia twin towers prescint. Good food everywhere;would recommend the food court at Pavilion. Grab was cheap to get around and easy.

Kuala Lumpur is underrated in travelling community.
Kuala Lumpur is underrated in travelling community. It's a good place to visit. Lots of activities for the families and reasonably priced. Communication is not an issue as almost everyone speaks english and you can find a Grab in just 2 minutes for anywhere.

Hotel Transit is a fantastic budget-friendly option for staying close to the Bukit Bintang area. It's within walking distance of public transportation, Petaling Street, Jalan Alor, Low yat Plaza and Mydin. There are plenty of nearby dining choices, including local eateries, 7-Eleven, Buka 24 Jam and popular chains like Texas Chicken. Our room featured a glass wall with views of the KL Tower and PETRONAS Towers. Highly recommend it to other travellers.
The hotel is spacious for a budget hotel. There is no TV, but there is no problem because now the internet is more important than TV. parking is easy and plentiful. only the halal food places are a bit far to walk. Bukit Bintang and Jalan Pudu can be walked. There are no employees if you want to check out early, but if there is no problem, the deposit will be transferred to your account
Location and the staff is very friendly.
Literally just next to Masjid Jamek LRT station, super convenient.
From the Malay female receptionist and the Indian handyman name Man, he makes the guest feel very welcome , his warmest makes their hospitality compatible with many so call 5 star hotel despite this is just a budget hotel.
1. Staff behavior : Both front desk and support staff were quite helpful and attentive
2. Proximity to KL-Sentral and prominent eatries specially vegetarain options like MTR.
3. The hotel let us keep our luggage for 4-5 hrs during the transit in KualaLumpur even though original booking was after a week.
Location is in the middle of KLCC and Bukit Bintang. Great customer service from all their hotel staff. Especially reservation team for acknowledging my request for my booking. They also sent a few updates before my stay. Overall the best value you can find for a hotel with KLCC view.
