My old town is a megacity in everyway but at an affordable price. Food is wonderful, varied and cheap. People are courteous and friendly. Getting to places is easy with Grab. Cannot wait to go back. Love it.

Kuala Lumpur is beautiful, fun and interesting. Easy to walk places but hard to figure out the public transportation. Grab Taxi's are very affordable.
We loved the Helipad rooftop bar, for drinks and a great sunset view.
Going to the Batu Caves was easy on the MRT.

Fantastic city with many shopping malls to get out of the heat. The Batu caves were fun, especially seeing the monkeys up close. Transport system was relatively easy to get around on but it was difficult trying to get the best prices ticket

I had been dreaming of coming to Kuala Lumpur for many years and it came true with our recent visit.
It was a city of diversity as many people from other Asian were working in shopping malls and in restaurants and cafes. Also they spoke many languages with 99% speaking English and my languages of Urdu and Pushthu.
The people were amazing and really friendly and helpful.
There was some traffic queues so plan extra time for journeys but the Monorail is modern, clean, fast and cheap.
We visited the Iconic Petronas Twin Towers and it was unbelievable to visit the bridge that connects the twin towers on the 41st floor then up to the 86th floor for a fabulous view of the city.

We enjoyed exploring the city using bus, train and taxi. so much to see and experience. Accommodation was fairly priced, and rooms are normally big. Renting apartments also worked well and was good value for money. Train and bus services runs efficient and was not to complicated. People are generally friendly and helpful to lost tourist.
I can easily recommend tourist to travel through this city and explore the many cultures embedded in this fast city. People are easy to engage with and most of them understand English. Most malls have dedicated dining areas with locals preparing cultural dishes that you can choose from.
We also found Kuala Lumpur very affordable compared to Singapore and even Bangkok. Hopefully we can meet again.

Hotel Transit is a fantastic budget-friendly option for staying close to the Bukit Bintang area. It's within walking distance of public transportation, Petaling Street, Jalan Alor, Low yat Plaza and Mydin. There are plenty of nearby dining choices, including local eateries, 7-Eleven, Buka 24 Jam and popular chains like Texas Chicken. Our room featured a glass wall with views of the KL Tower and PETRONAS Towers. Highly recommend it to other travellers.
Location and the staff is very friendly.
Literally just next to Masjid Jamek LRT station, super convenient.
From the Malay female receptionist and the Indian handyman name Man, he makes the guest feel very welcome , his warmest makes their hospitality compatible with many so call 5 star hotel despite this is just a budget hotel.
The location is very strategic, near with MRT Bukit Bintang station. The staffs are friendly and very helpful, especially when I need to order grab to go to airport, the security staff helped us to order it. And of course the price is quite cheap for hotel in that strategic location
Location is near Sentral station walking distance , restaurants nearby , hotel and room was clean. Wifi was okay. Room was spacious with two beds. Very good budget friendly hotel value for money spend.
