Absolutely stunning accommodation! Right by the beach, warm, sparkling clean, and spacious. In fact, 1 room was spacious enough for a family of 4 (we had to book 2 rooms but 1 would fit a family of 4), I wish they allow a family of 4 (2A 2C) to stay in 1 room.
They put a roll out bed for 1 child., it worked perfect for our 2 kids.
It also included 1 L milk for each room, an air fryer, and oven microwave. Would be handy for longer stay.

Amazing views and fantastic location not far from Nugget Point. Easy check in. Helpful to have a basic kitchenette for simple meals. Large studio room. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and spa bath were a special treat.

Lovely, clean, cosy, newly-renovated small bach with coastal vibe. Great location for exploring the Catlins and close to supermarkets. Loved the comfy white couch to enjoy sun and seaview while relaxing.
Excellent shower pressure and instant hot water (gas), plus heated outdoor shower. Well equipped with all linen, kitchen, bathroom and laundry consumables, plus added extra food items were a pleasant surprise. New large laundry sink and bench very useful. New washing machine and dryer. Heat pump/aircon in main room.

The apartment was really big and spacious, with comfortable beds and furnishings and a really well equipped kitchen.
Great location in the little town centre, and attached to a pub which served really good food, either to eat in the pub, or to takeaway.
An ideal location for us to explore the beautiful Catlins area.
Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion.

Kaka point is a perfect base for visiting the Catlins if you have a week because then you can make day trips to the many waterfalls, beaches, lighthouses and historical sites without rushing or getting exhausted. Kaka point itself is peaceful and wildly beautiful at this time of year but you need to go prepared as there is no proper store and only one eating venue which is quite expensive.

The whole of the Catlins is a treat for locals and international travellers alike. Be captivated by the beauty of the landscape and wildlife, while soaking up the quaint, sleepy town feel of Kaka Point. A lovely beach with a cafe/shop/restaurant so ideal for families. Easy to reach nugget point from there. Bear in mind it’s at the eastern end of the Catlins so if you want to explore places further west, eg Curio Bay, you will have quite a drive. On the other hand Balclutha is only a 15 min drive which is handy for stores and food shopping.

Beautiful location and very close to Nugget Point Lighthouse which is a must see for all travellers. Would have liked to stay longer and try swimming. The beaches looked very inviting. Clifftop views around the lighthouse are breathtaking

Lovely location, close to Nugget point. The local cafe was lovely. No petrol stations, nowhere to get breakfast you have to travel to balclutha or Owaka for breakfast if you don’t self cater. Great place to locate yourself while in the catlins

Stunningly beautiful with Sandy beaches and sea lions. Just a fabulous area not to be missed for nature lovers. Short drive to the nuggets and roaring beach with a chance to see the yellow eyed penguins. (Dawn /dusk) but bring bino’s.

The property was just as per the online pictures. It was very clean and the furnishings, bedding and towels were all top notch. The bed was very comfortable too. Even though the apartment was on the main road in Kaka Point, it was very quiet. We had a very enjoyable stay, and would highly recommend Seascape Apartments.
I stayed here with my mum who I haven't seen for 3.5 years, and it was such a lovely place for us relax together and feel peaceful. Kaka point is beautiful, the view from the room was amazing with brilliant access to the beach. The accommodation is very clean and really nicely laid out. The beds are comfy.
