Porticcio is very touristy, it has a beach yes (but a very urban view), can get crowded. There are other beaches 10-15minutes drive from apartment that should be explored and have nice views.
We visited A Cupulata - turtle mini zoo which was a nice experience just 25 min drive.
The best supermarkets are outside Ajacio, like Carrefour, Eleclerc and Geant Casino, I found the small supermarkets near Porticcio more expensive.

Beautiful beaches, but quite expensive.
Beautiful beaches, but quite expensive. No buses to move around. Be careful with taxis. A ride airport hotel could be 45 eur-80 eur for less than 15 min ride. To move from one hotel to another one in the same area (2 km distance) the ride was 20 eur and ee waited for 1 hour to get the taxi. The driver told us taxis are not interested in short / cheap rides. Restaurants and hotels are expensive
The hotel far exceeded our expectations and was by far the best place to stay in the Porticcio area. It has its own secluded beach and parking ,which is so valuable and I believe it is underpriced for what it has to offer. The staff are exceptional and so invested in your stay being the best it could possibly be. Truly an exceptional experience. I hope to return one day.
Abit corporate for us , we travelled around the island and this felt the least friendly and Corsican . Also a little remote not alot around it .
Having said that the room was lovely and the view with the sunset very memorable and the pool is huge.
We stayed Half Board and the food was okay ... not great but okay .
Stunning view to sunset, just 15 mins to the City Center by car.
The Apartment was very modern, clean, we had everything we needed.
The whole hotel was very beautiful, Pool with Panorama view.
The stuff was so friendly and was very engaged to fullfill all our needs/wishes
The architecture. The view. The room in general and the shower. The soaps and the aroma-sticks were amazing. Beautiful spoons for the cup of coffee. Fantastic sleem from the jasmine flowers outside the hotel. Really good Restaurent recommendation
