Excellent location, within walking distance of the main city attractions. Breakfast was great with a variety of food, sweets and fruit. Room and the hotel in general are always kept spotlessly clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was very good and variety was of particular note. The room was large and bright. Water was replaced every day in the room. The bed was of a very high standard and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and attentive. The outdoor pool was a very welcoming facility for rest after a long day of walking in the heat. Towels and freshwater were provided at the pool. The outdoor stairs to the pool could be made safer by adding a yellow strip to the edge of each step. The hotel is most suitable for business clients. The tourist client is not as well catered for and while the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, there was little knowledge of what was in the area. A very good hotel for tourists who have a car. Without a car, there are tours to visit Polignano al Mare, Monopoli, Arellobello, and a few beautiful cultural and scenic areas worth visiting. The train also runs to some of these areas. The old city of Bari is full of character and interesting to walk through the narrow streets and enjoy the beautiful Italian ambiance. Very good restaurants in the old town as well.

The restaurant staff were great and the choice was very reasonable and better than I thought it would be. Fortunately, the restaurant wasn't open on the night we arrived and we found a brilliant walkable (<200M) local restaurant Cocinas Ristopub, which served brilliant food and was very friendly. Car parking on-site. The room was slightly dated but more than adequate for our stay. Loved some of the artwork around the hotel.

We arrived late at Bari Airport due to a flight delay but were just in time for last orders (10:00 p.m.) at the restaurant. We weren't expecting anything special but the food and wine were excellent. Salad with fennel and peppers, hand made pasta and a fabulous glass of local Primitivo wine. Parking was convenient, in the basement, and secure. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, air conditioned and clean. It was a good start to our tour of Puglia

The Apulian capital Bari has been known for its port since Roman times. Nowadays there are 2 harbours: cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia depart from the new port, while the old port shelters fishing vessels.
Between them is a seafront road bordering the real attraction – the old town. Narrow, cobbled streets lead under arches to hidden piazzas with pavement cafes. Many are on adjoining Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, where the old Roman road is exposed.
The imposing 12th-century Norman-Swabian Castle guards the west of the historic centre, and the simple Cathedral of San Sabino is from the same period. Equally understated is the Basilica of St Nicholas, housing relics of the saint. Pope John Paul II once prayed there, which may have given rise to Bari Airport’s name: Karol Wojtyła Airport.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the meeting point of the old town and the Murat district, built under orders of Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Facing each other across this street are the colourful façades of the municipal office and Piccinni Theatre, though most prestigious is the Petruzzelli Theatre opera house.
Booking.com’s Bari accommodation includes luxury hotels by the Fiera del Levante, cheap city centre apartments, and B&Bs near the train station. For families, the slides and swimming pools of Bari Acquapark make a great day out.
Bari was more of a city than I was expecting
The old town was delightful with pasta ladies in the streets. A number of weddings happening made it even more interesting.

I loved Bari city it’s very friendly and chilled out. There are lots of the big Named Stores! It felt safe and relaxed great atmosphere.
Old town was an experienced. It had lovely streets to explore. A beautiful Castle which is definitely worth a visit 10euro to enter. I could feel and see the community spirt among the locals which is lovely. I found it difficult to find a nice restaurant in Old Town. Coffee can be a hit and miss.! Bari was easy to walk around. around
You can take a train from Bari to Monopili and Polignano a Mare for 3.50 euro which is amazing. It only takes 30/40 minutes. and well worth seeing both towns. The trains run every hour. A taxi to either of these towns cost up to 90 to 100 euro each way!! For me 3 nights is enough in Bari. I would definitely recommend 3/5 nights stay in Monopili A beautiful town great holidays vibe.!! 👌

Bari has a lot to offer.
Bari has a lot to offer. It has a different vibe to the other old towns, parts of this one feel so genuine and are still full of locals.
The central train station makes it easy to get to other parts of the country too and it’s only 15 mins to the airport on a local train and you walk to the old city in 10 minutes.
Coming from Australia I didn’t rate the beach but it’s still worth going to see Italian lifestyle.
Also as a single female traveller I felt totally safe walking around on my own.

Wonderful old city - a warren of small streets and squares.
Wonderful old city - a warren of small streets and squares. Very atmospheric. So many options to sit at pavement cafes and bars. The castle is worth a visit, as is the archaeological area underneath the cathedral. We did an Airbnb experience making fresh pasta and focaccia at Juanita's apartment which was definitely to be recommended.

Bari was nice.
Bari was nice. But to us more of a day or 2 would have been enough. Monopoli was a beautiful town I would have loved to stay in. All the towns around were easy to get to from Bari. The old town was small but nice. Also Polignano a Mare was beautiful. Our host was really great. Thank you Pasquale!!! The apartment we were in was also very nice. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen which was all we needed.

This was an excellent location where you could immerse yourself in the local daily way of life. Walking distance to the main train & bus station which had connections for day trips to Alberobello, Polignano al Mare, Monopoli, Lecce. Bari Vecchia was truly a beautiful place to explore... highly recommend.
This is better than a 5 star hotel!! Location is great (at the heart of the old town), the room super clean, but the highlight is Roberto's hospitality which is incomparable! He welcomed us with the best aperitivo and he prepared a great breakfast! Really fast to respond and he's very helpful! If ever in Bari again I'd go straight there! Couldn't recommend it more :)
The property is very close to the train station and a short walk into the centre and Old Town. The staff were very friendly and spoke English to us. The room was comfy and clean with a balcony and a bistro table and chairs. The breakfast had lots of choice and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after check out to explore Bari.
The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to the Old Town. It was close to shops, restaurants, bars etc. The hosts were very friendly, easily accessible on WhatsApp, offering suggestions on where to eat. The room was spacious, had a small kitchenette and all the necessary facilities required for a comfortable 3 night visit in Bari.
