Værelserne har skrivebord.... The location is remote, surrounded by a fantastic selection of wild-life. The grounds were immaculate! Even though most of the trees in the surrounding area are, what we call "Devil Thorn Trees", they were all raked away. The staff (shout out to Josie) were incredible. We were visiting with an infant and they made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I let the lodge know that we intended to braai (BBQ) the second night and they provided us with the braai drum as well as a bag of wood! 110% will be staying there again, next time for a week!

When Anton's father retired, the villages gave him a piece of land on the river to build this resort. They hire local staff and operate a river cruise to see hippos, and maybe crocs. They do a fantastic job! High recommend this place!

The Weinberg Windhoek is set in Klein Windhoek and has restaurants and free parking is available. The rooms at the Weinberg Windhoek combine old world charme with modern amenities. Great location - we got upgraded to a Villa, which was amazing.

On all the places that we visited in Namibia and Angola in this trip this one is the Jewel! The staff was excellent and the food - Great.

Hotel Heinitzburg is a restored castle with a unique architecture, set on top of a hill in Windhoek. It features a pool in a manicured garden, a wine cellar and two restaurants. Everything was perfect. Perfect, I know hard to believe but what a lovely place. Staff, beautiful room, great food, everything was perfect.

Bagatelle Kalahari Boutique Farmhouse Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Mariental. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Just amazing. Best lodge ever. The Kalahari as you might wish it. Great place, just go there.
