Beautiful boutique hotel - I loved everything about this stay - the best of both worlds with nature and beach. the staff were very kind and helpful, and it was very unique to have meals in a baobab tree. It is a fantastic escape for those looking to avoid the major touristy areas in favour of a more relaxed stay without compromising the beauty of your surroundings and quality of service.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The owner was one of the nicest and most hospitable people I’ve ever met. He was so kind and helped us organize our day and plane all our activities. The food in the hotel was delicious. We eat most of the meal there because it was so good. The hotel has so many things included in your stay like a bunch of water activities, yoga classes, pottery classes, and very nice clean pool with the most gorgeous view on the island. The view of the low and high tides are both stunning from the hotel. It honestly took my breath away. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable also. And everyone that worked there was so nice and welcoming.

Incredible stay!! Nice pool, cool breeze, excellent Wifi, and I was shocked at how good the food was, with plenty of options even for vegetarians. Really friendly staff as well, warm atmosphere, great music. Great relaxing spots as well. I loved the live chill music one night which was a nice surprise, and the bush babies that visited at night!

Skvělý personál v čele se sympatickým mladíkem nám připravili perfektní zážitek a servis celkově. Hotel je čistý, útulný, každý den kompletní úklid pokoje včetně výměny ložního prádla. Široký výběr na snídani a večeře formou ala carte. Jídlo bylo vždy perfektní a jakékoliv požadavky byly vždy splněny. Musíme vyzdvihnout číšníka, který nám byl vždy nápomocen a zodpověděl veškeré dotazy ohledně fungování na Zanzibaru a díky němu bylo vše vždy jednodušší, protože vždy udělal vše proto, aby nám pomohl. Ještě jednou děkujeme hotelu The Garten Living za skvělý pobyt a určitě se zde vrátíme.

We came for 2 days We stayed for a week All what is said is true and even better. It’s like moving into a gallery every thing is so beautifully organized, the food is Devine and the swimming pool is actually one u can enjoy your swim!! ( of curse their is a Hoppo zone as well 😉). If you like to pay a little more and get a lot more this is the place for you.

We loved our stay at Mahali. The setting is absolutely stunning with the beach on your doorstep. Our room was very spacious and bright and the view from our balcony out onto the sea was stunning. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast and lunch food were very good with a great choice. The hotel is in walking distance to all restaurants. The whole place brings an aura of calm which allowed us to have a very relaxing stay.

Honestly had a super time at this resort. From the cleanliness to the food to the service and people everything went beyond my expectations. They are very friendly people always happy and ready to help, all staff were so polite and great! Hakuna matata guys🫶🏻

Babalao Bungalows se nachází v destinaci Nungwi a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Tento hotel nabízí bar a pokoje s klimatizací a s vlastní koupelnou. Breakfast was very good, every Day you get something else! Beach is only few minutes to walk. Highly recommended!

Staff was brilliant. Many thanks to our butler Janett and all the guys at the pool bar. Teriyaki chef was brilliant. Food in general fresh and perfectly cooked.
