We spent 5 weeks travelling around Costa Rica and this hotels owners; Angela and Armando were the kindest, most generous and hospitable hosts that we encountered. Staying at Arenal Monaro went well beyond our expectations. We stayed for 5 nights and the views, the room, the service, the night walk and sloth tour were all sensational!

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Good hotel for its value. The breakfast is good too.

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. The hotel was situated in a quiet area of town, but was still super close to all the restaurants, bars and attractions. Staff were incredibly helpful and organised a taxi for us from the airport and to the waterfall one day. The room was big and clean with good air con. The outside area was also lovely, with an amazing view and the gardens are super pretty - attracting lots of birds - a highlight for us was seeing the hummingbird from the breakfast table every day - we loved it!

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. When we arrived I saw one of the most breath taking views ever. The volcano is so close and makes a crazy impression. I could just stare at it. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, breath taking view on the volcano, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. I recommend visiting nearby restaurants as there are so many just a few minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was a dinner at the hotel restaurant- it was expensive and really not too tasty. Very „Americanized” menu. I would rather have something local and simple. Breakfasts were wonderful though.

Apartotel La Sabana is located 1.5 km from central San José and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, breakfast included with the rate and an outdoor pool. Good location to relax & recharge after long flight. Comfortable bed & pillows & nice sheets. Hot water shower. Good food & choice for breakfast. Food also available till 8pm. Club sandwich was excellent Staff were all friendly & helpful. Nice pool area with sunbeds, didn't use the pool but water was clean,at time of our stay, just a bit cold unless full sunshine to warm up after swimming. Would recommend

Featuring an extensive garden, a sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free Wi-Fi throughout, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park and from La Fortuna... Beautiful resort with lush gardens. We just liked everything about it. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice terraces facing flora and fauna. The restaurant provides pleasant seating and a good breakfast. The (thermal) pools and jacuzzis are very nice and relaxing. We also enjoyed the happy hours at the pool side. An important point to mention is the very well trained, pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely go back there for a stay in La Fortuna.

Set in Fortuna, 2.7 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Fortuna Retreat offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We enjoyed our stay at Fortuna retreat very much! Great staff, super helpful. The place is new, super comfortable bed, the bathroom is amazing. We enjoyed outdoors pool and the outdoor greenery

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Pool, hot tub, communal area, breakfast - we loved the cooks/ hostess in the breakfast area - tip lots! front desk ladies were the best- we had lost our luggage and they helped us try and find it. Great property. Peacock on site was fun.

Хотел Indalo Adults Only се намира в центъра на град Пуерто Виехо де Таламанца, само на 3 минути пеша от плажа Салса Брава. Gonzales was very friendly and nice ! When booking cancelled our room somewhere else, we really didn’t had a place to stay, and he did everything to help us , and even drove us with his bike to the place, because there wasn’t any taxi or Uber! The place was also very nice, we loved in general our stay at Indalo! We will forever be grateful and definitely come back!
